Easily 8/10 for what I've seen so far, but that's probably because I've been starved of good hard science fiction.

Man, I seriously can't wait for exciting thing that occurs later in the first book. It's going to be so good.

It would be a lot better if it were made for mature people like myself instead of blanket sex and goshdarnittoheck speech.

Seen E1 so far.

Forgettable as fuck characters and extremely dull and clichéd dialogues. Scenes with space cop or space detective or whoever that fucker is made me vomit on my laptop, pic related.

The only redeeming quality is the setting and slightly promising plot.

No, I've just been craving for a good space related show for a long time. And characters spewing out cringeful generic cardboard 90s lines are kind of running the whole thing.

Terrible ship interiors/10
The book is consistent in pointing out how cramped and claustrophobic life in space is, this is contrasted with the agoraphobia of the endless void of space just outside the hull.
By making ship interiors spacious to the point of being cavernous, the show fails utterly in translating this duality to the screen.
The interior scenes should have felt like Das Boot.

Oh, but I really love the setting. Also the fact that it's based on books gives a little hope. I've just been taken aback by the generic cop/detective, generic hero, his generic bitch, genetic captain and worst of all "ladies and gentlemen fasten your seatbelts/buckle up buckaroos" generic pilot.

Tonight I'm watching e2&e3 andif this gets any better I'm gonna publicly apologise to everyone in here, but so far I'm disappointed.
