Do you take a director's or actor's personal life into account when deciding whether you watch their work?
For example, if there was a director that brutally slaughtered a man and two innocent little children and went on to make several films afterwards, would you watch them?

I don't watch his flicks because their shit, couldn't care if he kicked a kid down a flight of stairs, let alone killed a few of them.

Whose? My example is strictly hypothetical.

Are they jewish?
>>64617354
Wasnt his fault/
>>64617354
No. Otherwise my movie collection would be bare. So would by bookshelf and music collection. It's best not to know anyone whose work you like.

John "That's what the insurance is for" Landis

Landis is Jewish. But so was Vic Morrow so it evens out. Of course that means his daughter Jennifer Jason Leigh is too, and that's a bummer.

My ex always disparaged Woody Allen for being a child rapist, talking about how she could never enjoy any of his films based on how fucked up he was.
I still won't give ever give enough of a fuck to stop enjoying Sleeper, or really any of his movies that I like.
No, I love rosemary's baby.

American Werewolf in London is completely based
>>64617354
I certainly do not take personal lives into account, so long as the movie is good I have no issue with seperating the man from the work.
