You should make a visit to /co/ sometime. At least some of us there keep the old ways. I posted Tales of the Jedi in it's entirety not to long ago.

The story really shows it's age, but you can still appreciate it for what it is. In my naivety, I had hoped Disney was going to take the opportunity to fix the canon and use it for a film series with KOTOR and keep Bastila Shan as Vima Sunrider like she was supposed to be.

I always thought the Skywalkers should've been descendants of Uliq and Nomi. Don't hate me.

Nah, the Qel-Dromas and the Skywalkers work fine being separate families, no need to make the universe seem any smaller.

[spoiler[ I do hope they make a Tales of the Jedi trilogy in between episodes VII-IX and the next sequel trilogy. With based James Purefoy as Exar Kun AKA Marc Antony in space. I'd lvoe if they had a whole sword-and-sandal epic feel to it that made it seem like it really was Star Wars's ancient past. [/spoiler]

Given Mara Jade's already huge popularity in star wars fandom, I'm -or would be- surprise if Disney doesn't implicate her in new canon in some way. And turning her into cheap imitation know off will no doubt piss off Star Wars fans. I doubt Disney wants that if the nostalgic pandering of ep VII is any indication.

I was re-reading Thrawn trilogy just recently and I still found it still to this day superior trilogy sequel and more in line with Star wars yet also feel and be something bit different.
