This is proof that /tv/ has become contrarian bullshit and has gone down the gutter because everyone wants to be a fucking "patrician".
This film was literally MOTY
when i said it meanders i felt this was by design and enjoyed it but some people do not, that's all
the movie was excellent
agu trying to reintegrate into society while the teacher asked him questions was one of the best scenes in the movie.
Not even once.
>implying MOTY is some western oscar bait shit
>implying I will ever degrade myself or my taste by watching SJW influenced propaganda.
I'm the guy who first posted 7/10. Here's how I see it.
1-awfull, but atleast there's something briefly touching on something well done.
3-bad. Just plain bad.
4-bad, but theres some momentes that makes you think it could be good.
5-average, meh, ok.
6-good, but there's something clearly wrong with it.
7-good. Just good. You would recomend this.
8-gr8. You relly like it, but there are flaws.
9-near perfect. Hard to say whats wrong with it.
That doesn't mean each of these categories hold 10% of movies. Like 90% of them probably lies between 3-7, with fewer movies being on the extremes of the scale.
It's literal SJW oscar bait propaganda. Come up with something new other than to plug at peoples heart strings.
>“And I am sure that I never read any memorable news in a newspaper. If we read of one man robbed, or murdered, or killed by accident, or one house burned, or one vessel wrecked, or one steamboat blown up, or one cow run over on the Western Railroad, or one mad dog killed, or one lot of grasshoppers in the winter, - we need never read of another. One is enough. If you are acquainted with the principle, what do you care for a myriad instances and applications?”
>believing anything in the media is how it happened in real life.
Richard Mosse - The Enclave (2012)
>about something that actually happened
It's inspired by things that did happen in various African conflicts but not actually based on any historical event which IMO made it less powerful. The story reads as an conflict in an unnamed African country.
At least in movies like Blood Diamond the background events like the RUF cutting arms off, laying waste to Free Town and South African white mecenarries ending the conflict actually happened.
It's not from the media, it's adapted from a book writtin by the main character who came to America. Also both the book and the movie were both heavily praised for they're attention to detail in terms of realism.
>Trying to call out redditors on the most reddit board on 4chan.
>movies aren't media.
>this qutoe is bullshit because I said so
>I won't say why it is bullshit just that it is
Anything by NETFLIX is SJW propaganda. It's like playing spot the tranny.
>It's not from the media, it's adapted from a book writtin by the main character who came to America. Also both the book and the movie were both heavily praised for they're attention to detail in terms of realism.
*I move away from the mic to breath*
eh, I kinda agree.
I hate "slow" directors like him, Inaritu and that Villanueve dude...they're all about "le art" with some boring scenes and shots of villages, mountains, tropic islands and what not..
God damnit this place is a complete shit hole. All anon asked was if it is good or not with giving reasonable supporting reasons.
It is good and not full sjw like people thought it would be. Worth registering for a free month or torrent.
