Who would you cast in a live action King of the Hill movie?
>mfw a live action King of the Hill will somehow make Larry the Cable Guy relevant only because he's the only person they'd be able to cast for fat ass
PLEASE DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN. WE DO NOT NEED A SECOND COMING OF LARRY THE CABLE FAGGOT. LET HIM DIE.
I'm glad someone else can see it, the guy has the look down cold.
>the voice is all that matters
And I'm sure having Dan Mintz play Tina in the Bobs Burgers live action film would be a good choice since he did the voice for her right faggot?
There's more to casting an actor than just MUH VOICE ACTOR. For starters the actor should at least look like the character, you autist.
Brock Lesnar as Bobby Hill
>Chris Rock as Hank Hill
>Melissa McCarthy as Peggy Hill
>Noah Munck as Bobby Hill
>Faizon Love as Bill
>J.B Smoove as Boomhauer
>Ken Jeon as Kahn
>Amanda Seyfried as Luanne
>Louis CK as Dale Gribble
>Mistress T as Nancy
>Idris Elba as John Blackedcorn
>Boomhauer: Micheal Fassbender.
>Bill: Stephen Root, John C Reilly if Root just looks too old.
>Dale: Probably the toughest to cast. I'd say Johnny Depp but he would fuck it up, big time. So Fassbender again.
Hank: Just make Fass play everyone and peggy and bobby can be CGI
>Dale: Probably the toughest to cast
Agreed, I'm trying to think who would fit, maybe Steve Buscemi?
Hollywood actors would have difficulty with the accents. KotH accents are much more subdued than the horrible fake Texas accent Hollywood usually uses. They would also have trouble with the uniquely North-Central Texas mannerisms, turns of phrase, and physical tics that the show captured so well
>John C Riley
Equally important to consider is, which storyline would they use for a feature film? Something totally new, or an adaptation from the series? I'd prefer the latter. The two-parter with Debbie would be supreme. You could even have a black guy in the movie then.
I have no idea who could play Boomhauer.
This guy as Redcorn and any tired looking blonde as Nancy.
Redcorn = Danny Trejo
Bobby = That fat kid with the down syndrome face that played the bacon kid in Even Stevens
>Peggy, sue ellen
no one. they are all shit characters
>No one posting the obvious choice for Dale
Bryan Cranston as Hank
Ed Norton as Dale
I'm a purist about the rest.
Yeah I guess I could see it.
He never even entered my mind. He'd be great as long as he could get the voice. I'm >>64596842 and chose Jim Rash because he was the only bald actor with a skinny neck and high voice I could think of.
Not a chance faggot.
Mike Judge (from dang-ol' Hollywood) visits Arlen to do research on a cartoon he's thinking about making. Hank and the gang take it upon themselves to show him around the town and its values to make sure he faithfully represents it.
Ends up Arlen is too boring and Judge decides to make his cartoon about two teenage metalheads instead.
The plot could have the same tone as the show. Just have Hank and his friends try to fix a minor annoyance like a broken fence with Bill and Dale repeatedly screwing it up and maybe cause a misunderstanding with a new character to create conflict.
The government tries to kill Dale when they finally realize that he knows too many secrets. Hank, Bill, and Boomhaur arm the town and form a local tea party in a conflict that culminates with the secession of Texas.
I could get behind that, he has the right kind of personality
Hank: Danny McBride
Bill: John C Reilly
Dale: Ed Helms
Boomhauer: Daniel-Day Lewis
Peggy: Tina Fey
Luanne: AnnaSophia Robb
Bobby: That kid from Bad Santa, if he isn't too old now
Kahn: Ken Jeon
John Redcorn: Benjamin Bratt
Buckley: Justin Long
Nancy: Leslie Mann
Is king of the hill a perfect show?
Why the fuck is king of the hill not that popular? Its brilliance comes from simple comedy of manners with a dead-pan tone, not really that difficult to understand.
Even normies seem to "get" Wes Anderson jerk-off comedy but this is too much? Are people just too accustomed to the simpsons and family guy?
Hank: Nick Offerman
Boomhauer: Owen Wilson
Peggy: Jesus Christ Marie
Luanne: AnnaSophia Robb
Bobby: That kid from Bad Grandpa
John Redcorn: Roman Reigns
Nancy: Christie Brinkley
It has over 250 episodes. You don't reach that amount without being popular. Complete normies might not get it because it's not heavy handed, but the show was/is extremely successful.
I'm fucking dying over here
>John Redcorn: Roman Reigns
>Vince McMahon posts on /tv/
At least you had it on Netflix at some point. I'm a brit and it's never been on our version as far as I know. I'm sure I read they were finally releasing the rest of the DVDs in America (not sure about the rest of the world ) though, has that happened yet?
We got the Malcolm in the Middle sets a few years ago so hopefully I don't have to rely on my shitty torrented collection for long.
That shop is going to make me laugh forever. Also you spelled 'perfect' wrong, how could you possibli spell that wrong?
>Danny McBride would be funny
>Bill Murray as Bill
>Jeff Bridges as Hank
>Jim Carey as Dale
>Sean William Scott as Boomhauer
a shame stiles is 90 years old now, he would be a good choice for boomhauer
But if I had to choose I'd go with this anon >>64598166 this post might be meant as a joke but Josh Brolin is actually a good choice for Hank I think, he's about the right age, he's authoritative, he's got the southern accent, if you've watched MIB3 then you know what I mean. He'd just need to dye & cut his hair and put on some glasses.
>>Louis CK as Dale Gribble
>>Mistress T as Nancy
