>LOL THE WHOLE THEATER BUSTED OUT LAUGHING WHEN HE TOOK THE HELMET OFF
I've seen it several times and I never heard anything. Maybe if you guys live in some hellhole like LA people overreacted but here people aren't retarded.
Is it just me who finds this to be the most satisfying moment in the movie?
He's got a goofy looking face, but he really does look innocent, in a way.
His long black hair, shaved face, he just looks beautiful and youthful. Not monstrous in any way, and I think that will change as the new trilogy goes on.
I'm not gay, but I just find his face/hair such a beautiful sight, perhaps just because of the contrast of his actions and the fact that he is clearly conflicted about them.
Kylo Ren is the pillar holding up the new trilogy.
If it wasn't for him, this would be such a thinly veiled, calculated, cold, cash grab. But Kylo Ren is more than just a stereotype, an archetype, he's a genuinely well written character.
Kylo Ren is what sets TFA apart from any of the other mindless capeshit out there. Not to say TFA is now high brow entertainment, but at least it has more depth than none at all.
why do starcucks try this shill line?
he's an 'angry white male' stereotype, and a fairly obvious one. what's impressive about SJWs taking the opportunity of a 100% soulless corporate cashgrab to engage in some light nerdbashing?
In this and the one with Han I got really distracted with how heavy the helmet seemed. And I really wonder about the weight and it it's part os his Knights of Ren thing or was it supposed to be like a representation of the weight this persona has on him and it's somewhat of a relief to take off the mask physically and mentally.
Yeah, angry white male is such an established archetype.
Damn hollywood jews, not only do they try and make everyone get BLACKED subconsciously, they also hate on us REAL nerds :(
You're as easily triggered as a tumblr girl, you just think you're right because you're on the other side.
I said it was a decently written character, more depth than any other capeshit/"mainstream" movie character. That is the simple truth.
>he's an 'angry white male' stereotype, and a fairly obvious one
Still better than "comically and gratuitously evil deformed supervillain" which we've seen ad infinitum (and in the very same movie with Snoke)
They wanted a face-to-face confrontation when he killed Han. They should have saved the face reveal for that scene though. And he should have had his mask back on for the big fight with Rey.
What separates Kylo Ren from other villains is that it is easy to see why he would become a villain without it being pushed down our throats.
We, as the audience, still don't know why he went to the dark side. But it's easy to assume that he sees the galaxy as rightfully his as the heir to Vader and that he hates Leia, Han and Luke because they basically took away his dynasty. So.. he went out and formed an allegiance with the Imperial remnants and has been aiding them in their calculated return.
Yeah. That would have been better. When he says "the face of my son" and takes off the mask it has no weight to it because we already know it's his son and we already know what his face looks like.
I like you
I don't fucking believe you
yeah this show is garbage except for fap material and addam driver.
>blablabla i dont like sex
>doesnt show the sex scene
should have posted the episode
I thought he was gonna be the new Vader. Dude looks like john snow with a cartoon for a face
its a teaser scene.trailers went to shit but i dont know at which point.
It was a pleasant surprise.
Kylo Ren is one of the best things about TFA, everything works with him.
I'm glad he's a different character (for a change) and Adam Driver nails it extremely well.
He's also Han Solo looking, and more handsome than Driver's real face. I just wish he got more screentime.
Alec Guiness and Ian McDiarmind are excellent characters with good memorable roles, and Kylo Ren is that memorable character in TFA.
Sadly he didnt had many scenes, otherwise he could have been excellent meme material
I was let down cuz he seemed like an edgy bitch. Turned out that was the point
The theater went silent and everyone stopped breathing for a second. I first thought well shit this guy is ugly.
Then he started talking and was full of supernatural confidence and strength, better than any Marvel villain for example, and I was like well shit, there's something attractive about this.
Adam Driver alone makes Kylo Ren good.
I had never seen Adam driver till this film so I laughed a little but I liked that he didn't look at all like a menacing sith lord under the mask, it makes sense for him to look like a naive boy way out of his depth
I liked it, and I didn't like much about this movie
>Kylo Ren is such a Vaderboo that he even has a voice-changing mask even though his face and body is fine
>keeps fighting against being seduced by the light side of the Force which keeps making him do non-evil things
>doesn't know that Vader was redeemed, making his whole identity pathetic
kills his own dad in order to banish the temptation to be good so he can follow his Vaderboo image of the ultimate Sith badass who actually turned to the light
There's some well-written tragedy there. The dumb bastard.
