Grow up. People are allowed like what you don't like.

Is there a difference between a Star Wars geek, a Star Wars fan and a casual?
>>
>>64576268
>casual
You've seen the latest star wars movie
>fan
You've at least seen the originals, possibly the prequels
>geek
You've seen all the films/tv shows and have knowledge of the expanded universe
>>
>>64576345
Id put myself as a fan then but im pretty critical of flaws. I dont have much knowledge of the EU. Im pretty normal. Im glad i dont fit in with the geek section because i agree they are annoying as fuck. They're no where near as bad as Whovians though

I bet you dont make fun of jugalos too
>>
>>64575903
That pic is as unfunny as it is outdated.

These days they look like terribly dressed young adults who don't have a clue about the world around them. Young consumers and other "nerd culture" shitstains compose the majority I'd imagine.

My cousin is a Juggalo, but also a pretty nice guy. Honestly I don't blame him for being one, he's both autistic and lives in on of the many middle of nowhere areas in Minnesota.

>casual
Yoda is your favorite character
>fan
You know Yoda was voiced by Frank Oz
>geek
You know Yoda lived to be 900 years old, has no established race but Lucas was originally going to call them Whelks and make them narrators of the movies, and you thank Jesus every night a producer talked him out of that bullshit early on

>Geek

I hate this fucking word so much. It's something like "angostic" not normie but not nerd enough and this word is so overused like hahaha I love Star Wars Iam such a geek haha

I don't get it. Star Wars is the most normie franchise ever so why in USA SW is considered as something nerdy? All my jock friends love SW and we play in Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy, KOTOR so what the problem?
>>
>>64580426
>Vague word means X, synonym of vague word totally means Y
Nerd and geek are, for all intents and purposes, completely interchangeable.
>>
>>64576345

>>64577401
>you know everything from 'geek' part, but don't even like Yoda and don't care who voiced him

Shit, who am I?
>>
Yes, haters. Since they define themselves through negative, they are compelled to constantly lash out against everything that doesn't fit "normal" label.
>>
>>64579435
Wait so this hipster asshole both think he's cooler AND smarter than the people that he calls NERDS?
>>
>>64575903
Star Wars is probably the worst movie fanbase

but outside of movies you have >>64575950
as well as the steven universe faggots
>>
>>64575903
Disney fans.

The problem is since house of Mouse bought the rights to SW, the two fanbases have combined to from the most obnoxious fanbase on the planet.

Add Marveldrones to that group, and... well... you get to where we are now.
>>
>>64576168
That's because you only started caring about Star Wars when you were told to last month.
