ITT: MICHAEL BAY APPRECIATION THREAD (ONLY IN CAPS LOCK FOR ACTION-PACKED FLICKS)
>It was announced today that Paramount has reached an $18.5 million settlement with Gabriella Cedillo, the extra who suffered a severe head trauma on the set of the Transformers 3 film on September 1, 2010. The victim’s attorney accused Paramount of doing “everything they could to avoid payment”. A source tells Deadline that the lawsuit filed in October 2010 would have gone on longer if Michael Bay’s name hadn’t been thrown into the legal mix.
>But the possibility that the director and his Platinum Dunes production company suddenly were to be pulled in as defendants apparently lit a fire under Paramount to speed a settlement. Today’s news comes after a year and a half of legal maneuvering, including attempts by the studio to move the case from Illinois to California, as well one already failed mediation.
>implying Armageddon is better than The Rock
>mvq just rewatched bay boys 1 and 2 for the first time in years
Very good anti cinema
POST MORE EXPLOSIONS NIGGERS
pain and gain is his most realized film
i think the movie was shit because it tried to be Titanic and also because Bay only cared and wanted to turn the Pearl Harbor bombing into a non stop 40 minute set piece
after that he stops giving a fuck
Bad Boys 2
Pain & Gain
Pearl Harbor (that bombing scene tho)
Experimental arthouse tier
LITERALLY THE PERFECT LIST
THE ROCK IS GOAT THO
HES EVOVLING PICK FUCKING RELATED
The Rock is actually a halfway decent action movie. Everything else he's made is pure drivel. Transformers 2 in particular is one of the worst big budget blockbusters in history, maybe one of the worst movies of all time.
