Did Obi-Wan taught him well?
>did
>taught
english isn't your first language is it?

Pay no attention to Luke, Obi Wan purposely trained him wrong, as a joke.

hello reddit
Obi-Wan taught him to feel his way through the force
It was Yoda that did the actual training
>>64554426
Vader didn't know Yoda was still alive to train Luke, he was under the impression that it was Kenobi instructing him from the beyond.
Vader's gotta be pretty sick of the high ground at this point
>>64553870
considering obi wan had the low ground when he kills darth maul, ground level does not matter at all
yo you took your lightsaber game up a whole nother level
this is some cirque du soleil dueling now

From his point of view, Obi Wan had the high ground.
>>64554653
>forgetting that Obi Wan force jumped so high that Maul actually had to look up at him .
>Give up father I have the high ground
Obi-Wan tought him well. Luke simply never had enough time to master the high ground
>>64554831
Notice how he didn't have the high ground in Empire. He could have rekt'd Vader in the second movie otherwise.
>>64553870
Why didn't Luke just use the Force to push on the buttons on Vaders suit?
>>64554897
dude pizza rolls lol
>>64554897
He did that in a deleted scene. It asked him to select all the pictures with cheeseburgers.

the important thing is anakin learned the importance of high ground. rather than attempt a jump, he threw his lightsaber, robbing luke of the high ground advantage
>>64554809
oh you mean the EXACT fucking way anakin got his legs chopped off
>>64555267
>the master of the high ground was able to easily defeat and anti-high ground attack
I'm not seeing the problem here.
>>64553870
He barely taught him at all.
>>64553870
>Obi Wan defeats Darth Maul, who had the high ground but didn't know how to use it
>Obi Wan, remembering his fight with Maul, anticipates Anakin's attack and uses the high ground to defeat him
>Darth Vader, remembering his fight against Obi Wan, knows he cannot defeat Luke when Luke has the high ground, so he throws his lightsaber to break the catwalk and knock him down to lower ground
ABSOLUTE POTTERY
>>64555561
It may be funny or ridiculous but at least is consistent
> Luke kills thousands of people on the Death Star, many of them simple workers like cleaners and catering staff. innocent people with families to feed.
> Luke cannot kill the most evil man in the Galaxy because "he is a Jedi and doesnt kill".
BRAVO LUCAS
>>64555267
>implying the encounter with Darth Maul didn't teach Obi Wan a lesson in defending against jump attacks
>>64554708
reddit wont help you here, fucking redditor

Exactly this.
These chucklefucks never seem to get it.

Besides Jedis killed all the time in the prequels
Obiu Wan is a master of the defensive soresu lightsaber style. He basically defended almost all of anakins attacks. Anakin chraging and flipping over him made it easy for Obi Wan
