Boogie Nights clearly

Punch-Drunk Love is his most concise and entertaining film, while either There Will Be Blood or the Master is his most thematically rich and engaging. Inherent Vice is my personal favorite of his though.

the master was really something special.
There Will be Blood, The Master are clearly his most mature and ambitious movies, although the others show quality no doubt.

Nobody really seemed to get Inherent Vice, but I'd say it's second best.

Boogie Nights is next best, but nothing spectacularly new or different.

There Will be Blood, The Master and Magnolia are overrated but are still all solid films.
