>Jennifer Lawrence in the middle
>she's the key to all of this
Where were you when the best capeshit died?
Sitting at my computer probably, why do people always ask that? Obviously I was at my computer, I can't sleep without it running anymore, it's basically my only romantic and sexual partner and it's the only thing that makes me complete as a human being due to general social deficiencies.
The answer is "by my computer", it's always been "by my computer"
>tfw X-men are my favorite capeshit and the only capeshit I care about
>tfw I don't give a flying shit about Deadpool
>tfw I don't give a single fuck about Jennifer Lawrence
>tfw I couldn't give any less of a shit-fuck about Gambit
What an all-star cast though, my god, makes the cast of Avengers look like literal whos
the original with fantastic four in it
I liked X-2, but the first one and the third one sucked. Both Wolverines sucked (although the first one had a cool opening scene where they're fighting in wars).
First Class and Days were great, but Jennifer Lawrence was in those, too, and in a pretty prominent role.
the first trilogy is rather good when you take in account Days of the Future Past. Third was mostly hated for killing a lot of the characters. Instead with Days now adding to the movie canon, you have a worse line of future that was fixed and they can get back on track with hopefully a less shitty future ahead of them.
They aren't the worst films ever, I wouldn't even call them awful, but one and three (especially three) are weak.
The first movie suffers from a bad story. Magneto comes up with a convoluted plot involving a doomsday machine to kill people when he could literally just drop planes and skyscrapers on them. Or, hell, he could take over a military base like he does in the first comic. Wolverine and Rogue steal the spotlight from all the other characters. I think Magneto is just about the only villain with dialogue (not counting Mystique when she's pretending to be other people).
The second movie, in contrast, has a much better story. There's another doomsday weapon, but it makes sense because it's an easy way to kill all mutants without hurting humans. It's still the Wolverine show, but other characters have a chance to shine. Stryker is a much better villain in this than Magneto (even Magneto is better in this).
The third one has the worst story. Jean comes back from the dead and she's dark and has new powers now but like how and why? They hint that she was out of control before but now why is she out of control now? Cyclops gets wasted immediately so the actor could be the boyfriend in Superman Returns but like just recast him. He wears a visor all the time, nobody would really notice or care. And then, in the end, the bad guys are fighting to stop the government from stealing their powers with a weaponized cure, and I got to admit, I sympathize with the bad guys there. I mean, the government lab has a little kid locked up so they can steal his blood or whatever. It's just a mess. Why are the X-Men helping the government? Shouldn't they be on a mission to free the kid and destroy the cure that they're weaponizing and forcing on other mutants? As for the characters, again, it's a Wolverine show. There is a token effort to do a little with Rogue, but it's way too little.
X3 also wastes Angel, Psylocke, and Callisto by having awful versions of them in it. And they included that really dumb "I'm the Juggernaut bitch" meme that was a real groaner when the movie released.
Again, not "omg the worst films ever" but they're shitty.
>TJ Miller being a character in the deadpool movie
>Deadpool will probably save the idea of an R rated capeshit movie
>Deadpool is overrated but still enjoyable
Is anyone else actually looking forward to the deadpool movie?
>Where were you when the best capeshit died?
watching not sam ramis spider man and or watching Thor
>IT'S TIME TO MAKE THE CHIMI-FUCKING-CHANGAS
>Deadpool will probably save the idea of an R rated capeshit movie
I don't know. If you don't have kids going to see the movie, you lose a lot of money. Not sure they'll do it again
Doubt it. "Chimichangas" and other stupid shit are a big part of Deadpool. Spouting dumb memes is basically a power of his.
I don't play the whole "I'm going to ask you a question so I can spring a trap on you" thing so pass, I don't really care what kind of point you're trying to make if this is your means of getting it across. Play "Gotcha!" with someone else.
Not him but he asked you the question because deadpool is written as a living walking meme by certain writers and others give him a more down to earth but still wisecracking traits.
But he was most probably asking you because you either got your info about deadpool from /tv/ or reddit since you dont know what you are talking about
So it's a dumb "Gotcha!" question like I said.
Don't do that shit. If you want to say "well that depends on the author" than just say that next time and make your point in a way where you're not trying to trap the other guy, because I would have agreed if you had just said that in the first place.
No because if you have read the source you know he has been written better in the sense that it was a gotcha you actually don't know what you are talking about then yes I guess that was what I was trying to do it's not a trap if you know what you are talking about...
Anonymous isnt a username fucknut, Im not the one that "rused" you.
I don't know why you continue to argue when you know you are wrong and dont have a clue what you are talking about. Quite baffling how you have an ego on an anonymous image board
Not really because now you don't really have any creditable knowledge to debate how this movie would suck apart from memes on the internet and people who don't even read the comics being a diehard deadpool fan
If you're going to samefag throughout the thread, at least change up your grammar throughout the thread. You biggest tell is that you've forgotten to end with a period in just about every post you've made in this thread (except for when you ended with either a question or the one time you ended with an ellipsis).
Just a future tip for the next time you try to pull this stupid shit in a thread.
You can not compare Lawrence to Downey Jr. Downey Jr as Iron Man is the biggest draw in capeshit media and helped boost Marvel's cinematic universe in ways that not even six hundred billion not-boring Chris Hemsworths could.
Fox's biggest draw is Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Fassbender as Magneto and that's not even up for discussion. Lawrence is a pretty face on a chubby blue-painted body. They make her stand in the middle to appease retarded retards from the planet Retardia in the Retardy retard system.
>Magneto comes up with a convoluted plot involving a doomsday machine to kill people when he could literally just drop planes and skyscrapers on them.
The machine turned people into mutants, did you watch the movie?
Just wanted to know if other people were looking forward to the deadpool movie over the other capeshit coming out
>gets "called out" for samefagggin
You are now aware that you live in a world, a terrifying world, where there are people right this moment who use terms such as "canon" and "cinematic universe" when talking about films and television shows.
A terrifying world where imagined characters on a screen are required, according to those who discuss them, to adhere to "ground rules" set out by the creators of said-characters. A terrifying world where those that discuss these characters and their actions, are actually enraged if said-characters deviate from the mannerisms expected of them, the mannerisms that may have initially been set in the pages of a comic book.
Think about that. A comic book. For children. Yes, pictures and words on the same page, which are meant to be read by children, that are actually read by adults who then bicker and express their frustration at film-adaptations of these comic books not being "faithful". Faithful to a comic book. That's supposed to be read by young children.
This is your world. This is the world of capeshit. Terrifying, isn't it?
>mutant and proud
>proceeds to always be in her human disguise
>gambit is not tim riggins anymore
i bet he was cheaper than mister big forehead.
just how fucking buttblasted are you right now?
>the year 2016
>not called "The X-People"
>Be Jennifer Lawrence
>Bitch about equal pay
>Refuse to play the character true to the comics so mistique now always disguises herself as a human instead of being proud of what she is
