why are they always the bad guys in every movie?

is there a movie where they're the good guys?

Because they're bad guys in real life.

Lighter is a good guy in Bond.

Jack Bauer is basically the same thing

You may not have heard this, but a CIA agent is actually the protagonist of the popular 2012 superhero film The Dark Knight Rises
>>
>>64536611
the CIA is the most corrupt part of the government that the public knows about. the CIA does abhorrent things all the time. the CIA for sure smuggled guns into south america to fund drug wars that they profited from by selling drugs. we know this for fact.

more than likely the cia smuggled all of quadafis gold out of benghazi in exchange for arms and then killed the ambasador trying to figure it all out. but hill dog wiped the servers.

the CIA is super fucked up. if you payed attention you would know that. so it is the obvious 'secret' guy in charge of shit.

CIA is a subsidiary of the ZOG.

Making the CIA the goods guys would also make the ZOG look like the good guys.

It seems that Baneposting is dead and all meme'd out so this should inject some life into it.
If you go to the link I put above it will take you to a page with many screenshots of The Dark Knight Rises by Christopher Nolan.
What you should do when you get there is figure out why all of the frames are related. It is semi subliminal but easy to see.
It starts in the plane scene and goes on throughout the entire movie.
It is lower than semi-subliminal but a person of average intelligence should get it.
This will either end baneposting or make it last forever due to how stupid this is.

Argo: rescuing the Canadians
Hal of the James Bond movies: backing up James Bond with intel and special forces

The Bourne Trilogy: fighting an internal power struggle

>>
>>64543396

Zero Dark Thirty depicted the CIA doing stupid shady shit for 3/4ths of the movie which didn't pan out until a lucky tip came in and everyone zero'd in on the assassination mission. For a movie full of fictional bullshit to make the CIA look good, it still made the CIA look awful.
>>
>>64536611
>bad
>good

The CIA exists to protect the national interests, and to a growing degree, "the way of life" of the United States abroad. That is subjective

Good and bad are subjective and only used by children or people trying to manipulate those they think are idiots.

>>64543536

The CIA's operational capacity and general mission statement specifically concerns itself with America's interests. But there are stories of groups or units within the CIA that make for interesting humane stories - the rare pockets of "good guys" working in an otherwise morally shady bureaucracy.

>>
>>64543572
Again, whether what those groups, or the CIA as a whole, were doing being good or bad is based on perception.

A more appropriate question is, "Are the CIA effective in completing their chosen directives?"

Following that up would be, "Does the CIA minimize harm to stakeholders when completing their directives?"

>>64543596
>Considering their results, I don't think they are protecting anything at all

But there is no way of knowing all of their results or even if you have a sound sample size of their results to base that opinion on, right?

There are dead CIA agents whose identities and missions STILL are not known that died over 30 years ago. How much confidence can you have in what you think you know?
