>normies just want another Batman movie
>have to deal with Superman, Wonder Woman and fucking AQUAMAN
How hard will this bomb?
I thought the new Star Wars was gonna be a lot bigger than it actually ended up being, I doubt BvS will live up to the hype either.
Seriously doubt it'll get people seeing it multiple times which is where these nerd movies really make their cash. They already gave away the ending in the trailer for fucks sake.
>gave away the ending
You know jack shit about movies or trailers, anon. The only thing anyone can argue was bad about the trailer was the trinity being together, even I admit that was a bad idea, but ONLY because it's a completely different tone from the rest of the trailer. It doesn't spoil anything.
It will make over a billion easily. Batman is fighting Superman. Once the tv spots get out, normies will be hyped.
>Batman is fighting Superman. Once the tv spots get out, normies will be hyped.
The desperation is thick in this post.
We are long past the days when Batman fighting Superman meant anything, Especially with the Snyder tone and color pallet.
It's gonna be a massive success based on the title but it will be a complete piece of shit
The majority enjoyed most of his films, what the fuck are you talking about? They took their time on this film and got Terrio to rewrite. At what point do you guys stop being delusional and accept you're wrong?
Sure, if there was a sense of fun and whimsy to the flick.
That's just not the case wit bvs.
honestly I kind of doubt this. None of my normie friends really give a fuck about this movie. Normies tend to hate on Superman for being boring and overpowered.
They're also confused about why Christian Bale isn't in the movie.
>They know Superman and they know Batman
Audiences will reject versions of Superman & Batman they don't like (Singer, Schumacher). The characters alone do not guarantee ticket sales.
>They took their time
Means nothing. Most of the time was spent on planning out the other flick and the direction to go in the universe.
>Terrio to rewrite.
Terrio isn't special and it's still a Goyer script. Argo won awards because of its extreme Hollywood pandering. There was nothing special about Terrio's writing. And at the end of the day you still have Snyder directing.
Hardly anyone cares about capeshit movies until they come out. Even then, they only care when they watch it, once they leave the theater they completely forget about it.
My normie friends said they enjoyed AoU, but if you asked them anything about it they wouldn't be able to give you answers.
Autism. They clearly took their time to make this movie work. Anyone saying this is rushed for any reason is mistaken, 3 years since this was announced.
That sounds like an opinion bud, no point in arguing over opinions.
Im pretty sure 74% of the audience that rated it on Rotten Tomatoes enjoyed it.
Judging what critics say isn't always the smart thing to do. They're paid to give their opinions on things. There's another thread on this board asking why the critics rated a show around 20% on rotten tomatoes when the audience rated it around 90%. Don't be stupid.
>They clearly took their time to make this movie work.
Judging by the trailers, marketing and spoiler leaks that's clearly not the case.
bvs is nothing more than a commercial and they spent that time deciding on what they could throw into that commercial (hence the clusterfuck 3rd act). As well as how the other flicks could benefit from that commercial.
Nothing about it feels genuine. Right on down to the cheap and borderline inexperienced casting of their main heroes.
It could have worked. But the Snyder tone, color pallet and overall direction will kill any real potential. Like Singer and the X-men.
You clearly exhibit it.
>Still doesn't change MoS is an actual film compared to other capers
mos is a poor attempt to copy Nolan's trilogy. Stuffed with obvious product placement and plot/imagery copied from other generic blockbusters like Transformers because "the kids will like it".
True but he has never really made an X-men film. Which has killed the box-office of that franchise.
They are stuffing Aquaman, Flash, and yes Wonder Woman (maybe even Cyborg, maybe even Lex in a robot suit) in a desperate attempt to catch up to Marvel.
>Considering how it's kicking the ass of other 2016 comic book movies in terms of buzz
Marketing has been pretty terrible so I doubt that. but the brand a lone will keep it from bombing.
If it doesn't get great reviews though.... At best Nolan TDK numbers.
>How do you guys manage to type and breathe at the same time?
Dry those tears
>Meanwhile, Marvel decides to scrap the entire finding Bucky arc that was the original sequel to Winter Soldier to shoehorn Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawk Eye, Ant Man, Scarlet Witch, Flying Niggers, Revenge chick, and Wakanada shit to cash in with the BvS buzz.
>Meanwhile, Marvel decides to scrap the entire finding Bucky arc
Trailer say's different.
Dry those tears.
>some shills have their mouths wrapped so tightly around Disney's dick they can't even tell the general public's reaction anymore
their CGI always looks blurry, look at the hobbit, then look at the CGI in the trailer, exactly the same.
they are the VFX company Peter Jackson founded, they are responsible for all the terrible hobbit cgi and terrible DC cgi
I honestly can't wait or the dust to settle in on the first half of the year.
Lotta tears. Lotta trolling.
lol keep riding that disney dick, tho
Hell, look at the trailer count for Iron Man 3 and MoS.
Yet MoS got BTFO at the box-office.
This is what I hate about Marvel. They through a serious trailer at you we're you expect drama and the characters to undergo a development and danger around you but then when you watch the movie you get jokes after joke, boring shots of every citizen in a fucking city being saved, no danger, a villain that can't stop saying jokes, and just a waste of all the characters being uh noted because we they're really not doing anything.
Im just hoping the russos stay true to the same of what they did on winter soldier
Tried to replicate these just to check, and holy shit. had no idea the difference in buzz was this huge
>the DC damge control in this thread is great.
It makes the fall that much sweeter.
The trailers in front of Star Wars was pretty telling.
There was excitement by the end of the Civil War trailer.
Nobody seemed to care about the bvs trailer. And some of those scenes were pretty cringy.
That sweet, sweet denial
Honestly, watching MCUcks get butthurt might be even more fun than watching DCucks trying to disregard Marvel dominance these past few years
