Thank God!
It's a genuinely good show tho
>being glad that soft core porn is no longer on tv
OP confirmed for fag
>>64527155
Nah it's fucking awful and has only gotten worse
>WAAAH MY DAD IS GAY
>DUDE I'M RUNNING FOR OFFICE LMAO
What is it even about anymore?
>>64527180
That's simplifying it quite a bit, but okay. There's a show with three dimensional female characters and men get all whiny and offended.
I hope Allison Williams shows her hairy pussy before it ends.
;-;

I actually liked the first season before she started incorporating Lean In stuff into it.
>>64527253
>three dimensional
Is that another word for whiny, manipulative, and maladjusted?
>>64527130
This was already announced a few years ago
>>64527253
>Three dimensional female character
Ftfy
Shoshana is the only girl worth paying attention to
>>64527286
Three dimensional characters can be whiny, manipulative, and maladjusted while also being likeable, sympathetic, and insightful. A three dimensional character has depth.
>>64527336
>while also being likeable, sympathetic, and insightful
Literally none of the female characters and most of the male character have been these things.
>>64527286
That's still three dimensional.

As a girl who writes for her living and recreation, this show makes me sick.
Dunham makes me sick. She is not a reflection of women in this industry.
All the passionate women writers get overshadowed by others with an obvious agenda, or obvious romance. Why? Call me jealous, but I honestly don't see the merit of her works or others like her.
Please explain to me what I was supposed to take from this series as a woman making it on my own in an urban environment thousands of miles from where I was born and raised. I can't find the reason.
>>64527524
prove youre a woman
>>64527551
Why don't you prove you're a real man?
Can't tell til I see the pingas and the paycheck.
;-)

writing might not be for you
>>64527760
>Critiques writing
>Neglects to use punctuation or capitalization
Conjectures and sarcasm may not be for you.
6 seasons and a movie ;)
I had no idea this show's been on that long.
>>64527155
I honestly wish they'd focus more on Jessa, the hipster coffee man and Marnie, but Lena has to be front and centre. Ugly, inside out, the show dies when she appears
>It's a Jessa meets her father episode
JEsus christ, Jackie Boy, reach out to the tissues.
>>64527155
It's time. First season was pretty good, second season was too, but the show gradually lost steam and lost focus.

Why is a self-insert main character so acceptable?
