New Sunny Tomorrow, In the mean time best moments thread
show peaked at season 5
it was funnier when they were all psychopaths getting their way all the time
now they're just losers, and that's the joke, what big losers they are
I guess this makes it easier for real losers to "identify" with them
but it makes for pretty lame, tired comedy
In the first four and a half seasons they never had to deal with any consequences of their actions and that's what made it great and different. Around halfway through five they just became losers who always lost at everything and the magic was lost.
yeah i always thought they should just give it a dignified end around like season 7 or 8 until i heard glenn in an interview. he basically just said they were going to keep getting paid until the show just runs into the ground because that's what other sitcoms have done in the past. which actually makes a lot of sense considering how much they emulate and poke fun at sitcom tropes. i'm not going to watch it, but i'm glad they're admitting the show is going to shit and they're just going to get paid to keep doing it.
It's just the logical progression of the show. They're all in their mid-30's now yet none of their behavior has fundamentally changed since their early 20's. This does actually add an interesting layer to the comedy. I dunno, honestly if you don't like the show anymore you could just not watch it. I know this is a crazy idea. Consider it.
I really liked s6e10
>hawaiian underground trip-hop luau
>What's 3D even stand for?
>What dimension are we in?
>Dennis and Dee Go on Welfare
>Who Got Dee Pregnant?
>Sweet Dee is Dating a Retarded Person
>Frank Sets Sweet Dee on Fire
>Sweet Dee Gets Audited
Dee episodes are GOAT. Only plebs think she's the worst character and only the filthiest of plebs think that season 1 - with straight-woman Dee and no Frank - is among the best.
Marathoned it. It's by far the worst season. It didn't have a lot of outright nad episodes like S9, but it was just boring as hell outside of 2 standouts. Also, way too many callbacks. It was like TFA and their non stop callbacks to the OT, but even worse.
What the fuck are you on about? Theyve gotten increasingly more insane as the show has progressed. It dragged a little bit in Season 6 and 7 but 8-10 really rejuvenated the show.
>Sweet Dee Gets Audited
>That Baby Funeral
Hello fellow American. This you should vote me. I leave power. Good. Thank you, thank you. If you vote me, I'm hot. What? Taxes, they'll be lower... son. The Democratic vote is the right thing to do Philadelphia, so do.
Season 11 Episodes
The Gang Hits The Slopes
Dennis bangs Frank
Charlie Catches a Leprechaun
Frank Falls Out the Window
Chardee MacDennis 2: Electric Boogaloo
Dee Made a Smut Film
The Gang Goes to Hell
The Gang Goes to Hell: Part 2
McPoyle vs. Ponderosa: The Trial of the Century
Mac & Dennis Move to the Suburbs
they used to be losers who would fuck up every opportunity given because of their selfishness. They were borderline sociopaths. Now they are full blown psychos that lack any semblance of a conscience
>The Gang Goes to Hell
>The Gang Goes to Hell: Part 2
I really don't think a day would work for any of the characters. The only person who'd have as much ridiculous shit would be Dee or Charlie but Dee wouldn't be allowed a day and Charlie's would just become annoying after 10 minutes of lol randomness.
>You will never have a qt tranny gf who is a 10/10
Why did she cut her dick off?
>Thank you for being so.....kind
I used to really love the show, but as the seasons went on, so did the flanderization of each character. It's like they took little things I loved about each character and made that character all about those things:
Charlie went from being a loveable dumb guy to a full blown retard who is only annoying now
Dennis turned into a complete psycho who loses his shit at everything.
They just aren't even being subtle with Mac and his gayness anymore. It used to be funny but now it's like beating a dead horse
Frank was fun to watch as he willingly wanted to go from a rich, successful businessman to a complete slob, yet they still keep writing him as being super wealthy so they can justify the gangs shenanigans
Dee's is still the focus of ridicule, so she didn't really change much.
Idk guys, the first 5 seasons were solid gold, and the following seasons began to be more hit and miss with each episode. Seasons 8-10 have been mostly misses, but with a couple of great fucking episodes sprinkled in.
I hate to say it guys....but I think the show has peaked...
Fat Mac was hilariois, but that was because of the actual physical change the actor went through. He was also the only character to have a temporary (although funny although fuck) change.
>it's a fat Mac episode
When Mac pulls out the hammer I lose it every time
>Dee, I swear you would be of more use to me if I skinned you and turned your skin into a lampshade or fashioned you into a piece of high-end luggage. Add you to my collection.
>Are you saying you have a collection of skin luggage?
>Of course not, Dee. Think of the smell. You haven’t thought of the smell, YOU BITCH! You say another word and I swear to God I will dice you into a million little pieces and put those pieces in a box, a glass box that I will display on my mantel.
This is where Dennis is at his weakest
when his insecurities shine through he is the funniest character on television
the S1 abortion episode is GOAT for that
and getting stuck on the fence
also the end of the Gang broke Dee
when Dennis doesn't collapse hes not funny
Frank waterboarding Dee is my fave
>I admit it. We get our information from the top, the top cave
>glenn howerton has never even been nominated for anything
/tv/ has notoriously stated many times that "Frank was added just to bring in more viewers, cementing the show to Reddit tier forever"
It's stupid, since season 1 is almost unwatchable.
I would put my penis inside Olson to be quite honest.
know that feel bro
the gags with frank's breath being so horrible that mac needs to walk away, and bringing a gun to fight a fire had me breathless
i know i'll come back to it in ten years and bust a gut again
>Spoiling the episode titles
Come on, man. The title reveal is almost always the best joke.
>season one is worth watching
Here's some other phrases you should set aside, for your future use:
>the prequels are good
>Bay is a talented director
>Jurassic Park: the Lost World is objectively the best one.
Your reddit logic makes me sad.
I think the show is still good, but as far as I'm concerned there have always been a lot of missteps. As the show goes on the writing has become a lot more disjointed which is probably why the new episodes are so hit or miss. I thought the wade Boggs episode was fantastic
is the whole "they're sociopaths" thing just shit /tv/ says or what the writers are actually going for? I never thought that until I saw /tv/ mention it but even now they just seem to be doing a kind of pinky and the brain thing more so than being sociopaths.
I respect the fact that they've acknowledged that in all likelihood their best seasons are behind them and they're just going to have fun and get a paycheck until no one will give them one anymore but it's still going to suck seeing ever shittier seasons.
his acting is really contrived.
he is worst version of dicaprio, but for tv....
Come on, give some love for Dennis & Dee.
>dancing babies episode
>them trying to buy a gun
>them trying to stay healthy, when Dee has a heart attack
>GOAT New Jersey episode
>Implying there won't be a single male tax as more and more men turn away from marriage
It's only a matter of time. Soon women will take your money without even giving up the pussy for it.
>High School two-parter
Sure, buddy, sure. Season 6, except the Implication and Lethal Weapon 5, is the most bland, forgettable and unfunny season.
>jersey shore is the worst episode they've ever done
lol just lol
you are not happy to provide for a woman, even with sex ?
I bet you strive to make them orgasm and take pride when it happens.
Fat Mac season is worth it just to get to the episode where he explains how he got fat.
>Them making fun of him as candy falls out his pockets
Analyzed, Jersey Shore, Charlie Work, Frank's Little Beauties, and Mac and Charlie Die 2-parter are favorite episodes of mine. I love this fucking show. It's never been bad and I absolutely love Dennis losing his grip on reality last year. I hope he actually goes all Dexter this season.
Watched two episodes of Always Sunny back in '06 and haven't returned to the faggotry since
Hopefully this series ends with every character committing suicide, and its viewers following suit
>How about I take your wife to the bedroom and show her what it's like to be DEEP inside a big house
The restaurant episode has my favourite one off character ever.
>Shit is going down!
The dude's not even a proper character but he just cracks me the fuck up.
How can we be forgetting
>The Gang Beats Wade Boggs?
>Charlie thinking Boggs is dead
>Frank's final beer
>Boss Hogs appearing to Dee
>Charlie needing subtitles by the episodes end
GOAT episode right there
If Dee isn't AT LEAST in your top 3 characters (really belongs in 1 or 2) you are a reddit-tier normie cuck who probably likes
>le illiterate man xDD
>le random trayash man xDDD
>le sociopath man xDDDD
Hammered Charlie at the end of that episode was hysterical
Charlie, you did it, 71 beers holy shit dude!
>I got all the numbers
I'm gonna put some mustard on this one!
>gimme the hot dog
Holy shit you crushed that one dude, I've never seen some body hit it that far!
>isaawydbgshel [it's that wade boggs style]
agreed. not only is she one of the only funny female characters on tv, but she is arguably the funniest character on the show. even more impressive is that she's not really a caricature like most of the other characters.
i want to bang kaitlin
>he forgot about Z
Considering how little screen time he gets, he's a top-tier side character. If you could quantify funny/laughs, and make a ratio with screen time, Z is batting 1.000
Guys can we discuss the importance of bird law in our society?
I hope we see him and Duncan this season. I think you only see him in King of the Rats, Gives Birth, and Tries to Win an Award.
Plus, you need to have a nig on your bench.
I always get a kick out of the gang bringing up Charie's illiteracy, especially when he tries to deny it. I felt like they kind of moved away from that in the past few seasons but I was so happy when they brought it back in season 10 when they showed he couldn't even spell his own name when he signed it as Trundle.
Dee is definitely the best when it comes to cringe moments. One of my favorite episodes is when she trades places with Charlie and they show her attempting stand up comedy. I lose it every time she dry heaves
>tell me i'm good
>tell me i'm good
>tell me i'm good
She's so insecure. I bet all you'd have to do is say her hair looks nice or something and she'd immediately be on her knees and unzipping your pants.
