The fact that an 11-year-old imagination was technical enough to invent new technology for the opening credits of his pretend movie is really a testament to the filmmaking potential he had even early in life.
This kind of warms my heart a little bit. This kid loved movies so much, then he actually gets to make movies and becomes one of the all time greats. He's probably the greatest director currently living. This guy and Truffaut I just can't get enough of.
