I remember this fanfic in G-Fan a long time ago that had scientists putting Godzilla DNA in people and the main character chronicled his transformation itchy-tasty style, and the end had him describing the feeling of a shard of glass piercing your brain forever and the phrase "pain, pain is what it's like, Godzilla is all pain" or something like that.

It was pretty cool.
