The First Order didn't stop using clones because they lost control of the planet or they didn't have a source. Kylo Ren literally tells Hux that Finn's disobedience encourages him to return to using a clone army.
This is the biggest nonsense in TFA. A huge plot hole that rips through the text to satisfy Disney's fetish for negroes.
No you're right
They stopped because they lost control of kamino, it would take decades to grow a new army if they could even find a template, AND most of the clones they had would have been dead or degenerated from the accelerated growth process employed to grow them on kamino.
Kylo Ren's dialogue seems to suggest that the Dindutroopers can be replaced with clones quite easily.
Your mental gymnastics are refuted by the very text you are attempting to defend.
I think in episode 2, one of the cloners says that the clone army was commissioned 10 years ago. Also, the clones look just like, so unless they started cloning Jango when he was a baby, they must have accelerated aging.
Once the Empire takes over, they can just recruit randoms from the shit ton of planets and not worry about accelerated aging.
At some point in time, either the Emperor or Snoke chose not to use a clone army. It hasn't been explained why.
Just because something is left unexplained doesn't mean it's a plot hole. Why don't you try explaining how it's a plot hole?
Because Kylo is dumb and trying to intimidate Hitler with empty threats.
Do you take everything that is said in a movie as 100% truth? Are you capable of seeing that lying about replacing Hitler's SS with clones is something Kylo's character would do?
Kylo knows nothing about the cloning process, and why would he? He is not an authority on the matter. If Hitler said something it might have been more meaningful, but he didn't, because it's not possible for them to replace the kidnapped niggers with clones.
Clones are fucking expensive.
When you have a bunch of planets available it's easier to just draft people.
Empire also stopped using clones and replaced them with drafted soldiers.
A line from Major Kusanagi in Ghost in the Shell nicely explains the long-term drawback of a clone army.
"If we all reacted the same way, we'd be predictable, and there's always more than one way to view a situation. What's true for the group is also true for the individual. It's simple: Overspecialize, and you breed in weakness. It's slow death."
This. When you think about it, it's clear that the First Order cut corners all over the place.
Just look at the Starkiller Base. Sure, the main cannon is powerful, but they need to use an entire sun as fuel to power it. Also, they couldn't even afford to build a planet-sized space station like the Death Star. Instead, they found an uninhabited planet and built a giant cannon inside of it.
It's just an insult. The Clone stormtroopers were shitty and Kylo is jokingly saying they are better than Hux's men. It's like when someone says, "My grandma can run faster than you, and she's in a wheelchair."
The First Order never used clones retard, the Empire only used them for a while but stopped by the time ANH happened
