what's your opinion on memento?
Great movie. Not happy that they are re making it.
>>64477562
>they are re making it
wat
anti-climatic and kind of boring.
a masterpiece of cinema
>>64477537
only nolan movie that i enjoyed.
rest was dogshit, have not seen insomnia and inception is meh.
memento though is amazing
So bad i fell asleep.
>>64477537
okay flick but overrated like everything nolan does
>>64477537
literally a meme movie
>>64477595
can i please get the source of this poetry?
cant find it
>>64477537
>memento
>meme
>>64477537
more like MEMEnto! xD
It's pretty good.
I just witch Pierce would get more work.
>>64477537
True kino if you ask me.
>>64477597
>anti-climatic
I thought so too. My paranoia levels reached maximum about 2/3rd of the way through and it was exciting, but the end just felt really dull somehow, and even seemed to retroactively make me bored with the rest of the movie.
>>64477537
Basically bigest fucking with film form since Citizen Kane
>>64477537
100/100
>>64477537
Trash. Honestly, it's one of those things that I just don't get. It was boring, the gimmick was annoying but most importantly the story itself was not worth it.
>>64477700
he looks like Michael Kelly now
>>64477537
really enjoyed it
>>64477690
Dude that was epic, i'm screencapping this one for 9gag.
>>64477537
reddit concept, boring movie, and yes, anticlimactic
>>64477537
>write a mediocre flick
>reverse the order of the scenes, the beginning is now the ending
>10/10 Bravo Nolan le masterpiece
>it was anticlimactic because it didn't have explosions, helicopter crashes and fistfights at the end
I didn't think it was possible to be this pleb, but you sure proved me wrong.
>>64478295
hello 9gag
>>64478295
What's a reddit concept?
>>64477537
its easily nolans best, a thouroughly good movie and basically a much better and more original version of shutter island
>>64478502
>>>/myspace/
>>64478295
>reddit concept
lol
>>64478382
Because explosions, helicopter crashes and fistfights are synonymous to being climactic :^)
>>64478504
i haven't watched insomnia so
TDK>The Prestige>Interstellar>BB>Inception>Memento>TDKR
Nolan is a god
>>64478611
I actually liked the prestige the least. he wrote an entire movie just for that twist and it wasnt even that great. anything that related to tesla was also total bananas
over fuckign rated
>>64478687
it's a comfy movie
>>64478687
The entire movie was a single magic trick. With entertainment and action beats acting as the attractive assistant distracting us from the trick.
>>64477700
he was great in the rover
>>64477700
Also good in Animal Kingdom
It's probably Nolan's best movie. Whether that's a good thing or a terrible thing is up to you, but I think it's pretty agreeably the best Nolan has ever done.
>>64477562
>they are re making it.
This can't be true. I can't imagine why they would.

chronological edit >>>>> whatever shit nolan tried to pull
>>64479075
Memento's gimmick >>> Boyhood's gimmick
>>64479106
Swine! Didn't you know it took TWELVE (12) YEARS to make?
>>64478945
>>64479036
it'll be a female lead this time
>>64478805
>The entire movie was a single magic trick
It wasn't, though. The introduction of the teleportation device was such a fucking cop out. He wrote himself into a corner he couldn't sensibly get out of because all his focus was on the specific beats and reveals while everything inbetween fell by the wayside.
>>64479242
I guess I can agree at that being the divisive point. I was able to look past it and enjoy the movie even on re-watches as well.
>>64477537
it's nolans only great movie
>>64477562
what kind of mouth-breathing hollywew mongoloid in his wildest, coke-fueled dreams would ever think this is a good idea
>>64477537
I saw it a few times and I still don't know what happened.
