I can't find a single thing wrong with the execution of this film.
>>64452279
the ending was "meeh"
then you are lost!
>>64452279
This movie is waaay too slow
Had to watch it in 3 parts
>>64452279
>eyewitness testimony being reliable
>eyewitness testimony 30 years after the fact being reliable
small complaint but it was so obvious. "if we just make him appear certain people will forget how shit eyewitness testimony is"
Loved itbut the epilogue was in tiny print.

>he doesn't marathon his cinema
top pleb
>the lake scene
>the basement scene
that was some good shit

>Not many people have basements on California...
It creeps me out typing this
Lucky Number Slevin
The fact that it wasn't very accurate to the actual Zodiac investigation is the only flaw. Robert Graysmith was also a sociopath himself.
Last forth of the movie is boring as fuck, the protagonist should have been Robert Downey Jr., but it was the worst character of the movie instead
>>64452826
Because the case has not been conclusively resolved IRL.
>>64452279
We didn't even find out who the bad guy was.
the flaw is the whole thing
s*ge
Admit it, this is a damn good film
>>64454658
The only problem with the film is that the most important detail explaining Lewis' character behaviour was entirely cut from the final film.
And that detail is that he was sterile, which explains his anti-pathy towards people.
>>64453187
It was pretty accurate up until the last third of the movie when the case had gone cold and it followed Graysmith's own personal investigation.
>>64453153
I tried to convince myself that there wasn't a movie with the word "Slevin" in the title for years, thanks for undoing all that work fucker

They couldn't have picked a better song to close with
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emNyJKWtK3E
the film is far too slow and repetitive. no big satisfying moments and is ultimately far too long without much payoff
>>64454858
It's a really well made movie but yeah, a lot of its appeal will be lost to people that aren't interested in true crime and aren't already familiar with the case.
>>64453187
>Robert Graysmith was also a sociopath himself.
For real? Tell me more.
>>64454760
How do you know he was sterile?
It's amazing how polished them movie was. Everything looked correct to the periods.

Ready to be red pilled?

>>64455094
This doesn't really make him a sociopath so much as a money hungry publicity hound.
>>64454983
Revealed by someone in the film's production whose interview I read a few years ago.
Would explain the whole story, but the director decided to leave it out to make it more ambiguous for viewers.
>>64452279
I've got a flaw - everytime it's discussed it brings autistic Zodiac tinfoil hatters out of the woodwork to complain about it not dealing with their pet theory that the real killer was Toschi or Ronald Reagan or the Unabomber or whatever.
>>64456081
Fucking this.
>>64455718
Its only flaw is that it isn't four hours as intended.
>>64453140
>I do.
:)))))
