I liked every character except Rey. I was willing to let go of how the sequence on Jakku was an ANH copy if they didn't do ANOTHER Death Star because Jakku was cool. That whole third act was lame. I'm very nervous for Episode 8. How the hell is Rey gonna train to become a Jedi if she's already flawless?

I thought the movie what shit, but I liked this scene. If you were going to shoot a sun out of the planet you are on and you are at a safe distance who wouldn't watch? You can't just let everyone go watch the gun fire because they need to show some discipline. It make sense they line up and have a little speech. Fuck that would be fun to watch. Being a little too close with your helmet on would be super exhilarating.

As un-needed as it may be in other films with other fictional bad guys, the Empire/First Order is literally based off Hitler from the very first idea in Lucas' head.

You're right, the Allies should have done Operation Downfall which would've destroyed ALL of Japan and killed millions upon millions more than two nuclear bombs ever did.
