Why does it seem that over 90% of main characters in kid movies are girls now? What happened to male main characters in kids movies? This first became noticeable when literally all animated movies had girl leads, and Pixar has started to making girls the main characters in all their movies lately. This has even spread to movies geared towards a PG-13 crowd with the new Star Wars franchise being led by a female lead.
Main characters on children movies have always been mainly females. Disney has been the top animation company on the west and it has always taken inspiration from fairy tales. I was a very sexist kid who even refused to watch Sailor Moon for finding it girly but for some reason I didn't have troubles with Disney movies
We must feminize the male gender to suppress their problematic impulses. We have achieved this through; increasing estrogen levels in foods, pesticides and water supplies, changing the academic environment to be anti-ancillary to masculine behavior, and changing standard curriculum (problematic aspects include classical texts, theatre, and skills - we have replaced this with modern alternatives). We advise removing more male teaching staff to help speed the process along, as well as dis-incentivizing males from forming subcommunities based around masculine interests such as hunting, bodybuilding, video games and so on through the use of regulations and ideological attacks. As this all affects the crucial formative years of young males, we have a significant likelihood of positively affecting the behavioral issues caused by unrestrained masculinity. We have begun the process of changing the military - one of the most problematic spaces of society - to meet our expectations.
Hope you can understand.

Where's your source? Think of all the big kids movies of the past few years. Lego Movie, How to Train Your Dragon, Big Hero 6, The Good Dinosaur, all boys.
I really want to see a male to female transgender teen as a main character. Pic related, should be modelled on the gorgeous Nicole Maines.
