In all honesty, The Wire set the bar for a TV series so fucking high that I cannot see anything else.

Sopranos obviously deserves an honorable mention and Treme aswell, but both of these are definitely not on the same level of the Wire.

writting on the show was weaker for s4/5

season 5 just sucked

Season 2 I found really boring

Season 3 I started to watch episode 1 but just lost enthusiasm. I thought it was meant to be one of the best shows ever made but I just didnt get into it. It seemed so dated like it was made in the early 90s
