It had some decent music and nice atmosphere. A sub-par film but it had some redeeming qualities. It wasn't down-the-board garbage like many other films that year, and any year. Stop being an over-reacting, hyperbole spewing typical teen pleb just because Shamallama made another bad movie. It just makes it fucking obvious how beyond dumb as fuck pleb you are. Pleb.

Do people seriously dislike this movie? Shit was scary as fuck and ended with a legit twist. Much more deserving movies to hate on then IMO Shamalayms best movie.

I liked it better when I read it in 4th grade in a book called "Running out of Time".

Literally 95% of the plot is ripped out of the book, including the "legit twist"

I never understood the massive hate for this film. It was my favorite M.Night Shyamalan film.

Not amazing, or anything, but cool aesthetics, interesting idea. The acting was largely bad, but I have pretty harsh standards for acting, which ironically makes me more forgiving, since 90% of films out there have awful acting.

So? The Sixth Sense was ripped off from an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark. This wasn't his first time copying a piece of children's entertainment and turning it into a scary movie with good atmosphere.

Either way it's one of the things that distracts from the main point of a Shamallamadingdong movie, like the how the aliens couldn't get through the door in Signs. He's trying to make a point and builds the story around that point. Pointing out these kinds of flaws are like nitpicking a metaphor when it comes to these kinds of stories.
