I'm loving this whole ideas for Doctor Who thing, if people have ideas, or scripts to share drop them in the general.
>TARDIS picks up a distorted distress signal materializes on a human mining colony that's on a planet known for having rich amounts of gold in it's crust
>Miners have found a ship under the planet's surface
>Don't know what it is
>Doctor investigates and finds that it's a 'retro' Cybership, and inside are damaged, older models of Cybermen(I picture either the 80s-era Cybermen or the RTD era)
>They're currently in some sort of dormant state
>Crashed on the planet during the Cyber Wars years before, before the planet was colonized.
>Managed to use it's communications automatically once the ship was pulled out from all the gold and shit by the miners
>The Doctor realizes that he wouldn't be the only one to pick up the signal
>Modern Cybership approaches planet
>Old Cybermen start to wake up, all of them malfunctioning to the point where they're berserk, human elements shining through, mostly negative
>Sadism in particular
>Only logical Cyberman is the retro Cyberleader, who's constantly shifting between feeling the need to convert, and self-hatred at what it's become
>Other Cybership arrives
>Malfunctioning Cybermen are considered a plight because they're whacko
>Three way skirmish between old Cybermen, Security on the colony, and the new Cybermen
Here's mine once again.
>Landing the Tardis on randumb mode because they can't decide where they want to go
>Tardis suddenly starts freaking out
>Doctor recognizes the problem and says that the Tardis has come into contact with a major disturbance in time
>Doctor tries to relocate the Tardis, but it's too late
>Tardis crashes into a jungle
>Tardis is damaged, so it will take a while for it to repair itself
>Doctor and companion go exploring in the meantime
>Beautiful planet, full of tons of exotic alien animals
>A little while into exploring, Doctor and companion get the sense they are being followed, but never see anything when they try to look
>Stumble across a temple of some sort
>Go inside to find murals and paintings describing some terrible unseen creature that "suddenly appeared in the ecosystem"
>Doctor and companion think that's what has been following them
>They decide to head back to the Tardis, instead of investigating this time around
>On the way back to the Tardis, they begin hearing sounds like a mix between hissing and shrieking
>Things start to pick up, and the creatures are obviously stalking them now
>Obligatory running scene because things get too suspenseful
>Before they get back to the Tardis, they are surrounded
>Finally, the creatures are revealed to be big, velociraptor-type creatures with no eyes that rely on hearing to see
>The creatures pretty much appear out of no where, like they just teleported right in from of them
>I would like to write an episode with the dream lord starting with a trippy-as-fuck sequence in the TARDIS collapsing in on itself
>Clara wakesup in a completely empty white space, the dream lord coming up to her, and telling her she's in her own mind and he can manipulate her memories.
>The Doctor uses the telepathic psychic shit and enters Claras mind Dream Lord and Doc meet up again, the Dream Lord remarks how much older he is and "what happened to the other one, I thought you were gonna keep her for real this time"
>Dream lord remarks on the Doctor's more stark look calling out on still being a coward, and does a bad guy impression, mocking the doc.
>Dream lord enters Claras memories mentioning he can make her forget what he wants, he choses from three important memories what she must forget, the Doctor, Danny, or her parents (subject to change),
>she choses her parents because the Doc manipulates her or some shit (subject to change) and Dream lord is defeated somehow.
>Que fight between creatures and the Who-crew
>Creatures actually get a few decent hits in, teleporting all around the Doctor and companion
>The Doctor manages to distract the creatures to let companion get back to the Tardis
>Companion gets back to the Tardis and drives it to where the Doctor is (yes, wow, a companion that can drive the Tardis) to save him
>Tardis for some reason keeps redirecting away from the Doctor
>Companion lands the Tardis and finds the Doctor on foot
>Doctor says he hasn't seen her in days and thought she was dead
>Doctor is injured
>Que companion being caring and some chemistry stuff (no romantic shit)
>Doctor explains his hypothesis on the creatures while she patches him up (lol I dunno, I guess she just had a first aid kit on her or something?), beings that can travel in time through willpower, which explains why they were "teleporting," they were actually moving while traveling into the future at the same time
>Doctor says he grabbed hold of one the creatures and got sent into the past a few days because the creature freaked out and activated a defense mechanism that sends the creature into the past
>Doctor ended up killing the creature and studying it, which aided him in learning all of this
>He managed the lose the rest of the creatures because of the time incident
>It's also explained that the Tardis initially freaked out because the constant time travel fuckery of the aliens was disrupting the time vortex around the area
>The only thing that doesn't make sense in the end is where the aliens came from, although the Doctor thinks it could have been a mass "time migration," when all the aliens traveled into the distant future together in search of food, it could have also been something else... (2 parter, maybe?)
>The Doctor and companion head back to the Tardis, but are they being followed again...? (2 parter, maybe?)
Reminder: The Janitor is a timelord and the savior /who/ deserves
Reminder: This is a nice general you've all got here. It'd be a shame if anything were to happen to it. Behave
I'm still butthurt about that Fargo Emmy snub.
This isn't mine, but I'm posting it here because it's BASED as fuck.
>doctor materializes in an old cottage
>it's dusty and old, think it is abandoned
>the cottage was inhabited and old man living there pulls out a gun on Doctor
>after seeing them, old man starts questioning them, and Doctor explains he doesn't know anything about the cottage
>old man reveals it was the last building on the planet, and that the rest of the civilization was destroyed in some generic war
>was built as a shelter but was the only one that stood and contained the entire archives of the civilization
>ever since the war the old man has been haunted by 'ghosts', and believes the Doctor and companion to be part of those ghosts
>Doctor attempts to find out more about these 'ghosts' and is curious about the civilization
>old man has coughing fit and expresses desire to finish the last project of his civilization
>he is trying to create a robot to store all his memories and carry on the will of his civilization and store the archives
>the Doctor realizes that the old man himself is a robot, and has been repeating the cycle of creating robots of itself for thousands of years
>the ghosts he saw were from a fault in his archive storage
>robot cycle never stopped because the original old man who built the robot carried his strong desire to save the civilization through copied memorizes.
>Doctor offers to end the cycle and carry on the information himself
> Doctor travels to some planet
> on this planet time travel is illegal (cause time travel fucks shit up) and the docter gets thrown in prison
> The planet has been confiscating all kinds of time machines, including the teselecta, and put them all together in a big storage room
> they try to destroy the time machines, but it goes wrong and there are all kinds of time distortions and paradoxes and the planet is in danger of dissapearing from time and space
> The doctor escapes prison by going trough a time portal caused by all the time distortions
dunno what now, i'll try to come up with something
this any good?
>Doctor/Clara being chased through Time Vortex by Daleks/Random monsters
>situation seems hopeless
>Takes big hit
>Doctor and Clara sent flying and knocked unconscious
>cloister bell rings
>Doctor and Clara wake up, Tardis damaged, but Daleks nowhere to be seen.
>Cloister bell ringing
>Tardis seemingly ejected itself from the Vortex, escaped the Daleks, but critically damaged.
>Tardis is unoperational
>Eye of Harmony containment is failing
>Doctor has to get to the core the fix it.
>Things don't seem normal however
>Clara is behaving oddly
>Things seem unrealistic, slightly off
>Still, doctor gets to the core, needs to enter a code to access eye of harmony/key tardis systems.
>About to enter it, then stops
>Clara pleads with him to enter it
>The Doctor realizes, the world has seemed too unrealistic.
>Starts asking Clara questions, things only she would know.
>She doesn't want to answer, Doctor presses her and realizes she Cant answer.
>Because this isn't the real Clara
>And it's not the real Tardis
>It's a simulation
>The Doctor allows the Eye to Explode
>Doctor stands there as the world fades to white around him
>He was in captivity all along, and the Daleks/Whatever monster needed to code to access the Eye/Key Tardis controls so they could use it for themselves.
This could be the first of a two parter, second episode involving an escape somehow, maybe the doctor thinks he's left but is really just in another simulation I don't know.
Reminder there are still Brits monitoring this insipid circle jerk and you only have another 6 hours before things go back to normal and we get day /who/ back.
Govern yourself accordingly "Janitor"
thanks for posting, I'll post my other one all together
>TARDIS materializes in a rundown corridor
>decides to explore
>notices a long bloodtrail and get even more curious
>starts following it and after a while hear a thump
>after a while of walking, notices they haven't moved
>tries to turn back but don't see the TARDIS
>companion slips on the blood and makes noise
>realize the thump was the same exact noise as companion slipping
>realize that they haven't been moving through space, but somehow time
>wonder if they made the noise, what made the blood?
>companion mentions that whole blood problem and that they don't know who caused the blood
>companion starts to panic a bit and hears hurried footsteps
>runs after footsteps thinking they were the Doctor, but doesn't see the Doctor
>turns back and Doctor is gone realizes footsteps were the Doctor presently in companion's past
>Doctor and companion somehow wandered off a bit too far and their timelines got desynchronized
>Doctor ended up wandering a bit into the past and companion into the future
>Companion hears "I'm here" right before they ask where the Doctor went
>companion tries waiting but cannot get synchronized properly
>after a while they manage to tell each other to stop moving
>both sit down and try to figure out how to properly communicate and get back together
>after a while of staying still, doctor/companion start to feel funny
>companion's hands start to wrinkle/crack/age
>Doctor's hands start to become younger
>Doctor realizes that they are creating a paradoxical timeline that should never exist, but its existence creates enormous energy
>its existence also requires enormous energy, and the effort of effectively stopping the timeline is tearing them apart
>this timeline is effectively a giant power generator made by an unknown something and used for an unknown something
Sure is. Could be interesting seeing some shit like the Doctor travelling to different points in the planet's history to get back to the present and find the cause.
plus shit like Time Zombies pursuing him
>Doctor manages to tell his companion that they need to keep moving or they'll die
>they begin walking again but the strain to their bodies have caused wounds, so their blood begins to make a trail
>they can never try to meet each other again because the effort of stopping tears their bodies apart
>the farther they move, the more energy they create
>companion realizes this and has an idea to try and overcharge the time-battery
>starts running away from the Doctor
>timeline begins to warp
>the companion sees visions of their future travels through the battery, and potential adventures and life
>Doctor meanwhile starts to shift through regenerations as he revisits his past
>eventually, the timeline cannot hold the strain
>explodes into whiteness
>Doctor and companion are back in TARDIS with no memory of the events
Is it safe to come back yet?
Have the retarded multi-thread makers left?
Thank fucking god. Love night /who/.
i'm a thief ;_;
Some autistic tards were making threads way too early, and pretty soon it just went mental with three threads at one time, and people arguing over which one was the "TRUE THREAD".
tl;dr: Day /who/ is a shit.
Reminder that trolling outside of /b/ is prohibited and can result in a ban, but go on and shine you crazy diamond.
Slightly off topic, but what does /who/ drink or snack on? I like redbull for long nights. What about /who/?
Also isn't this a neat animated picture of the 11th doctor?
It's ok, anon, I'm honored someone saved my gif.
Also just had a thought on this, on the way to the core they could be stalked by some monster, you don't get to see it through the episode, but the threat of it "shepards" them to the core.
At the point where the doctor realizes Clara isn't real, he realizes that the "monster", they thought was right behind them isn't there anymore, he realizes it never existed and was just shepherding them to the core
He then realizes the whole thing was a simulation to get the code
It's been comfy for two threads now. You missed a lot of good posts, anon.
>This thread is archived, right?
Hello, newfriend. You can check out 4plebs or the new replacement of foolz. Now stop sounding so new.
Afraid so. I'm just happy Breaking Bad swept the stage even though I usually don't care about shiny trophies.
I left when there were three threads already, did it really get that bad?
Reminder that you guys should totally read The Price of Paradise.
What if the guy saying he's a janny is actually
Reposting the idea with the most startling twist in Whostery:
My episode idea:
>Doctor is space.
>Then villains house.
>Doctor comes in
>STOP THIS I AM DOCTOR.
>They don't stop.
>Doctor is fight.
>Doctor is prison.
Time for another episode idea since everybody seems to be sharing theirs.
>12 materializes on his own (Clara is busy playing with her pancakes or something)
>goes to 1913
>steps out into middle of military parade
>instantly taken prisoner
>snaps fingers, tardis doors closed
>TARDIS hauled away
>official present at event visits DOctor
>it's franz ferdinand
>Doctor eventually befriends him
>Doctor is released
>goes on a tour of Austria
>then suddenly, danger!
>austrian soldiers step out of trees
>car is ambushed and escorts are incapacitated
>long story short, Doctor brings Ferdinand and an officer or two to safety
>Doctor is concerned
>this event never happened in history
Reminder that pic related is what happens in Day /who/
Whoops. I meant the Doctor in prison. Also, DotD and Sherwood.
What i'm saying is moot gives 0 fucks. He does post anonymously
maybe in /who/ occasionallybut you fuck around and get his goat he wont hesitate to make an example out of you or anyone else. Moot's a fucking hardass compared to his staff.
I just want the Doctor to have a timepal who shows up from time to time and isn't River fucking Song.
I had an idea a while back to both address Gallifrey and the regenerations. Moffat did okay I guess, but I'd always assumed that Gallifrey was in a time lock. One the Doctor put on. One that his name was probably the key for. So my thought was:
>Doctor is in a War Games scenario where he no longer has any choice but to seek the Time Lords' help
>goes in like that one crazy Dalek who I can't remember the name of
>yanks out Gallifrey
>there's been a revolution
>Gallifrey thanks him with a new regeneration cycle
>things are going well
>they want the Doctor to become Lord President again
>he obviously doesn't agree with that wish
>not everybody is happy either
>13 Time Lords cause him shit through a whole season
>try to take over Gallifrey in the finale
it's all one Time Lord
I should come up with something new though. Alright. Episode idea.
The Doctor and [companion] are trapped in a log cabin on a snowy planet with some folks who start going mad from a space virus. Lucky for the Doctor, it only affects humans. Not so lucky for [companion] though.
>Doctor saves Ferdinand several more times
>turns out they were clockwork robots or some muffler tier thing
>need Ferdinand's parts
>Doctor continues saving Ferdinand from these attempts on his life
>accidentally saves him the day he was supposed to die
>timeline all fucked up
>World War I is far worse now
>entire future of humanity fucked up for thousands of years because of it
>has to go back and stop himself
This is my episode.
I had this idea before Day of the Doctor.
>Doctor arrives on a planet he believes is desolate and barren
>Immediately sees a huge orchard of strange looking trees, but the planet's distinctively shaped moon shows it's the same world
>Doctor wonders around for a bit and finds a very old man caring for the trees
>The man lives alone on the world and tells The Doctor that he was exiled here
>Doctor deduces that the man is a Time Lord who was exiled for conscientiously objecting to the Time War and sent to harvest TARDIS coral for the war effort
>Time Lords took the man's TARDIS and Time Lord powers away from him rendering him only as a human with immortal life who can't regenerate
>The Gardener doesn't know the Time War is over, doesn't know what happened to Gallifrey and the Time Lords
>Doctor has to tell the Gardener what he did and face up to his guilt
>Very character-centric plot with no monsters or threat and works solely as an episode to let the Doctor face his guilt
>Gardener chooses that an eternity tending plants on his own is better than sharing his life with the man who killed his family and civilisation
>Doctor leaves in a sulk
aw well maybe you should start your own website then. i'm sure it will be a success.
I know, I was there and contributing to the discussion
> the doctor goes to the site where all the time machines are
> since the Tardis is the 'strongest' time machine, everything will go back to normal if he can get the Tardis out of there in time
i'm not sure about the next thing but here we go:
> there are time/space portals everywhere, all of them are short jumps in time though, like 1 second to 10 minutes
> he goes through one and meets his future self
> future self tells him which portal he should go trough next
> he goes trough the portal and meets his past self and tells him which portal to go trough next
> he moves trough some more portals and gets to a room that contains the tardis
> the door of the room ha 2 locks that are both locked and which have to be unlocked at the same time
> he uses his screwdriver on one lock, then goes trough a portal that sends him back like 15 seconds and he uses his screwdriver on the other lock
> the room opens, the doctor gets in his tardis
> it's too late, the planet explodes
> the doctor was inside the teselecta the whole time and goes back in time from right before the explosion, flies the tardis away and time/space is okay again
>not praising whatposters
This thread would be overrun with newfags if it was up to people like you, you may bitch and moan when they get out of hand but come live thread you'll be thanking your lucky stars for them.
>greentexting while not contributing to the topic
>not making use of an imageboard
How much don't you want to be here?
There would be no point.
The story works as the Doctor confessing to the Gardener that he genocided two species and civilisations in one day. It would start with the Doctor's elation that he's not the last of his species, but then The Gardener would talk about how his family were still on Gallifrey and how he hopes he can one day return to them.
And the Doctor would have to own up to killing them all.
But the Day of the Doctor made that impossible because the Doctor saved Gallifrey in the stasis cube.
So everything about the episode is pointless now.
I guess it could work as a 9/10/11 novel or Audiobook
>all these good summaries
>they will never be turned into an episode/audio book/novel/comic
I wrote a couple of stories for the Big Finish competitions a few years back. From memory, the basic plots were:
>4th Doctor - Someone attempts to weaponise The Doctor.
>5th - Zombies that exist in a state of quantum uncertainty, much like Schrödinger's Cat.
That's all I can remember, but I can dig them out and attempt to summarise them, if anyone's interested.
Only newfags participate in live threads, they're inundated with casuals, and people who live to just troll and derail live threads. They go away on their own by tuesday or Wednesday. /who/ is always best during hiatus at the furthest point from airing.
I just realized that the Tenth Doctor saying it'd been half a dozen regenerations since Sarah Jane had last seen him in School Reunion didn't make sense if you counted her meeting the fifth Doctor in the Five Doctors... UNLESS YOU COUNT THE WAR DOCTOR!
Addendum: some anon noticed the other day he seems to say "come at me you faggot" at that line.
That's complete nonsense. The what posting lasted well into yesterday until the ban hammer came out. It stopped being about new fags and casuals and quickly became verbal downvoting of dissenting opinion. It stifles discussion.
Well that's a downer, then I don't know, maybe just write the script and try and submit it to Moffat or something, it may sound naive, but just to see what he thinks, that nerd cubed cunt managed to get a 30+ minute interview with him in his house, I'm sure he'd be willing to look at a script.
I wonder if Moffat ever considered this.
Anyone got that image of Eccleston and Capaldi with the flags of Manchester and Scotland? It was in an OP but oppressive mods decided to delete it even though it had more posts and everyone preferred it.
I would have but
Even if DOTD didnt retcon the destruction of Gallifrey the TV audience wouldn't enjoy my story because there's no monsers or villains and would essentially be self-contained episode of two people talking (but I'd try to make sure that the BBC got a very distinguished British actor like Patrick Stewart or Terrence Stamp or Sir Anthony Hopkins to play the part of the Gardener)
>what posting started to die down when I joined in pointing out that it's essentially a downvote
Again, night /who/ is creative enough to find a way to shit at shitposters/newposters. Let's cross that bridge when we get there. Besides, livethreads are horrible anyway.
the /who/ hierarchy
I dunno, I think in the context of Gallifrey it could be very much justified, at least to the BBC, episodes very much character driven seem to be the best, and this one seems to good that I can only see a villain making it worse.
If you don't like someones opinion respectfully disagree and explain to them why their opinion is shit. talk down to them call them the morons they are. Using a single word to downvote their posts is frankly child like and you really need to rise above it before you get generals in general scrapped from the board.
Reminder that Colin Baker is the Lord of The Pies.
Where do you think you are?
It's not to be used against regulars, just newfags who post stuff along the lines of:
"Why's Clara going out with a nigga?"
"Dese lesbian slivians.. Fucking BBC agenda"
"Omg the doctor shouldn't be OK with people dying, Tennant never did DAT!
I really liked your idea. I'll try writing on my own scripts too
but I'm shit.If you want you can try to make a serious thing of my robot/blood trail ideas. Anyone is welcome to do something with them if they want to.
That anon worded it weirdly, but yeah it is better to banter than simply reply 'what'. That might have been effective the first time but it got really fucking abused to death, and I'm pretty sure the posters during livethreads will
Think of another creative way, night /who/.
Dude I dunno, you said you were shit like three time and everything you came up with is GOAT, can you try pls anon, it's too good to go to waste, if not I will give one a go and likely fail. So you must try first anon ok?
>12 walking around Cardiff for whatever reason
>happens to walk past Jack
>doesn't say anything because he doesn't feel like talking to him or associating with him
>walks right past him
>Jack thinks its Forbisher from Children Of Earth
>Jack comes behind him and begins to yell at him
>Jack punches him in his face and knocks out 12
>cut to opening credits
The story is the Doctor telling a Time Lord exile that he massacred his entire species. Now the Doctor knows Gallifrey isn't destroyed. The emotional impact of ...
>Yey I'm not alone anymore
>Fuck off you destroyed my homeworld
... is lost now because of DOTD.
I could possibly still write an episode where the Doctor meets a Time Lord exile but the story would have to be very different.
>come up with blood and old man robot
>think he's shit
i love you
I posted this one on /pol/ and several people seemed to like it. Was expecting "gtfo britfag" or "gtfo tumblr"
instead got positive replies and even a /who/ reaction image
tell me, what boards do you others frequent?
Ok, minus the whole punching in the face thing which is a tad overdramatic imo, I can see this working and being a great way for the Doctor to find out about his 'face'. The Doctor is told about the Children of Earth thing, Jack gets real pissed that he didn't get involved, the Doctor is devastated and goes full on MALCOLM TUCKER RANT mode on Jack for what he did for the children, Jack explains there was no other way, the doctor disagrees, Clara is horrifyed and unconsciously associates frobisher with 12th and gets mad with him, becoming more distant, the Doctor meets frobisher and talks with him or something.
I dunno how to continue.
/vp/: "FUCK OFF BRITFAG" or "Oh hey, Dr. Who."
There's even a OldWho poster on there, so winwin for me.
>tell me, what boards do you others frequent?
/a/ and /vp/ here.
I really hope Jack appears in the series proper again one day, but it seems like he left with RTD.
I could kind of see 12 being more forgiving of Jack's actions. He wouldn't dismiss it, but he might understand. Really need to see more of Capaldi to judge
No, the closest thing the janitor seems to be ok with is variants of, (and they must change up apparently)You're entitled to your opinion, thanks for your contribution to our discussion.
>tell me, what boards do you others frequent?
Why was this post deleted? Did you delete your own post or was janitor?
Also, /pol/ and /mlp/. And I'll wander into various other boreds when I get board.
>I really hope Jack appears in the series proper again
I go to /ck/ too, though I haven't been there lately. I sometimes lurk in /trv/ or /sp/ if there's a sports event I'm interested in. I don't think I've used DW images outside of /who/.
Used to go to /a/ but anime a shit srsly tho i just got bored with it
"Why the hell are you back?
"Jack! Good to see you!" *moves towards for handshake*
"Stay where you are!"
"Drop any weapons you may have and then get on the ground!"
Barrowman sure made the right decision there eh?
There's still hope. Barrowman's happy to come back and the guys who make Arrow are fans. They basically said they'd bend over backwards to make time for Barrowman to return.
It really just takes a writer to pen him in
>I'm not sure what expression this is
>Not knowing le wrestling face
Newest ebin meme on /pol/ >:^D
Janitor is in the thread poking your posts
not that guy but /ck/ is seriously one of the best boards here...they share recipes discuss cooking techniques buying food on a budget. seriously great discussions if you're into food other than hot pockets >am i rite guis?
A comfy board for recipes, kitchen equipment, and such. There are also fun threads like mug threads and the bingo /ck/ board and himalayan pink salt
Not really, people just debate about rice cookers, share their latest mcdonald's meal, and shitpost constantly It's a comfy place tho and they say moot loves /ck/; he has posted his dishes there and his kitchen
>it's almost as good as Star Trek: The Next Generation
>almost as good
>the next generation
I don't even know what the fuck is real anymore. How can any sane person think this?
"You look like someone I knew."
"Yes, I think that."
"But the man I know.. Knew.. He's long gone, last I heard he offed himself."
"Oh Jack. Jack, Jack, Jack. You and your little militia, thinking your doing good but yur actually bringin' about more harm than gud."
hi guys, i'm >>48308717
not done yet, but dumping this here:
> The doctor meets a women who can create alternate reality's cause some freaky scientists fucked with her brain
> The women is a 40 year old who is depressive because she had a traumatic expierence in which her 3/4/5 year old child died
( this event is time locked for whatever reason cause it would be boring if the doctor could just go back in time and save the kid)
> Because it was so traumatic she's forgotton all about her son and what happened
> An alien race tries to abduct the women to use her powers
> The women tries to get away from these aliens by creating an alternate reality but she cant control her power
> The alternate reality is one where she relives how her kid died
i guess in the end she learns to live with it or something.
How to watch? Buy or torrent all the classic serials.
There are 20 not on DVD though (as they have large parts missing), for that you will need to search the pirate bay or youtube for "Loose Cannon"
You will also need the "Lost in Time" DVD set, for the gaps.
>What do they do there?
They talk about food and cooking.
>Mlp really isn't that bad
No, really. DW is somewhat childish, but come on MLP and /mlp/ is an all new low
Have you tried watching it? Obviously it's geared to a younger audience however it's still loosely veiled morality stories. I was skeptical too. Then i heard John Delancie<sp?> Q...talk about it at a con and checked it out. it's shockingly good for what it is.
What are you trying to say? I'm not the Janitor. I'm saying if he gets out of control he'll just ruin this place like GB.
>>Also, while we grant our users the utmost discretion and freedom, there is no guaranteed right of free speech (or right toward anything else, for that matter) in this community ~ Gallifrey Base
Here is the problem:
* Janitor does their job, enforcing the rules only
* Someone notices and complains...which is against the rules. "Complaining about 4chan (its policies, moderation, etc.) on the imageboards can result in post deletion and banishment."
* Deleted/ban request.
* Someone else notices this and complains.
* Snowballs into "Janitors are nazis"
How to avoid it? Ignore the moderation while it is going on. Report when someone crosses the line.
>Doctor and companion arrive at an archaeological dig
>all sorts of stuff are seen while they explore
>cyberman heads, candyman, whatever
>"I've found something!, I've found something!"
>Doc and companion run over
>Its the Tardis
>Put Clara into a situation where she has to make a difficult decision. The doctor is already detached and experienced with this but have her make a Sophie's choice style decision where she has too choose who lives. E.g. Human race or alien refugees who want earth. Or just make the daleks hardcore again. Show them being as smart as the doctor in some situations, for instance making it a single dalek on a special operation as a threat.
This isn't your general. If you have spent any actual time here you'd know that there's an influx of casuals and trolls during pre/live/post/postpost threads. Since this is a "general" it might as well have a target on it. It's easy pickings and you by raging and what posting fall into the trap. Some stick around because what posting is fun and somewhat reminiscent of the le ebin raids of old.
There is no combating that. It just becomes a shit flinging match and everyone gets dirty. You just ignore them. You can hide posts if you dont want to look at them, fuck filter words you don't like.
Reminder that this is a bucket of shit. If someone throws shit at us, we throw shit back at them. We start a shit fight. We throw so much shit at them, that they can't pick up shit, they can't throw shit, they can't do shit.
GOD FUCKING DAMN IT.
