ITT: Movies everyone likes that actually fucking suck.
That is sad to hear you say that. I am a father of 2 boys and one girl, and we watched Ghostbusters together about a month ago and my kids loved it. It was a great feeling, because I saw Ghostbusters in the theater as a teenager and thought it was hilarious, so for my kids to like it as much as I did, I think that says a lot about the quality of the movie.
Also the people who made it such a giant hit.
its is great on its own, but the nostalgia factor really brings it home now. Take for instance the scene before they go into Dana's building for the final showdown...the one where the street breaks up and the car rolls down etc. That fucking happened, they set all that shit up to move and break up like that. No CGI bullshit, they actually broke the set up and made it move. They mostly dont do that anymore, its nice.
Pain & Gain is one of the biggest pieces of shit to be released in 2013. Fucking soulless, boring, unfunny, mean-spirited piece of shit. And Bay's direction has - somehow - gotten even worse. I hated that movie.
Bill Murray is funny.
You are a faggot.
These are facts.
I wouldn't say suck. But the two first Alien films are vastly overrated.
Oh, and the same with Blade Runner. Not bad films by any means, but I just don't get why people praise them so much.
>having a point
There's no depth to his movies. You get what you see. Don't act like there's anything else apart from the obvious messages about greed, vanity, society today, etc.
I don't care what anyone of you faggots say, this fucking movie was shit yet everyone praises it.
Ellen Page is a stuck-up cunt and Cera is just useless.
This entire oh-tihi-look-at-me-I'm-so-quirky-and-special-thing is pure shit.
Anything by Cuckoldino
Anything by Hitchcock
Almost anything by David Cameron
Almost anything Chris Nolan
Anything Spiderman, Iron Man, Hulk or Avengers
Those as well.
Face it, most successful films suck.
Apart from the opening 15 minutes, the whole movie is just for MURRIKANS to feed their ego on, and it goes USA! USA! USA! way too often. I don't blame it, considering who directed this shit.
Imagine someone taking the perfect premise for a dark comedy, then instead cramming it full of juvenile humour that would only appeal to adolescent boys. That's Pain & Gain.
Under a different writer and director it could have been a brilliantly twisted film.
This movie sucks so fucking much. I can't stand this piece of shit.
I couldn't contain my laughter when that kid started saying momma over and over, people looked at me funny that day.
2001 space odyssey
Yeah because you totally don't go and act like that achievement caused a turning point in something and it was the greatest thing ever existed while it was only a part of something way bigger.
And you say we have an ego, huh?
I'm not even American. I just find it pathetic how much English and Australians whine about Americans.
You're so incredibly bitter about this nation of people that doesn't even acknowledge your existence. It's sad.
The moment I realised that it was just Nolan's Batman trilogy with a James Bond lick of paint, I was so close to leaving a full cinema. The sheer number of stolen images, themes, motifs and characters was nearly too much to handle.
>Protagonist goes to china and goes inside a tall building there to find a minor antagonist
>villain dresses up like a policeman
>villain gets caught
>villain breaks out from holding cell
>train crashes (From Batman Begins but is still relevant to my point)
>villain blows up important buildings in the city
>theme about the protagonist getting older
how many of you would have taken her?
