>The largest chain, AMC Entertainment, with 11,083 screens in 1,009 theaters, has been hit hardest, its shares dropping a dramatic 45 percent since Memorial Day while the Dow Jones Industrial Average has gained nearly 4 percent.
>Regal Entertainment (7,379 screens in 566 theaters) has seen shares plunge 28 percent in the same time frame while shares of Cinemark Holdings (5,926 screens in 529 theaters) have dropped 18 percent.
>Owners of Imax, which operates a network of 1,257 giant movie screens at theaters worldwide, watched their shares plunge 31 percent while owners of National Cinemedia, the company most responsible for putting advertising on movie screens, saw their shares shed 25 percent of their value since Memorial Day.

I'm still bitter about how they made a bunch of slightly larger screens and called them "IMAX" (bullshit) and then forced us to watch everything in 3D and pay $5 more if we wanted to see anything on them. Now assigned seats too. Fuck 'em.

Anyone knows knows anything about cinematography knows camera movement and frame set up control the location that views will instinctively look to at first glance.
For ex. a still camera looking at a symmetrical set head on will have its first glance location dead centre.
Now see pic related - dead centre.
As a film student I've noticed this phenomena where the first glance location is always some part of a lil girls body.
What the fuck is up with this shit? I already know other film students can confirm it happens but why?

Even the little baby orcs, in their little orc cradles?

What do they do in times of genocide where world powers refuse to intervene? Do they enter and impliment their own justice? Who's justice to they implement? Do they work with America's allies? Even when those allies are guilty of genocide and use of poison gas to murder children in their cradles?

After that bizarro pilot that lead to legal troubles and the final but very vague announcement the legendary fantasy series would come to TV properly after all, we now know it will be Sony who will be responsible for bringing Robert Jordan's world to life.
>Both IGN and Variety released reports last night stating that Sony will be adapting the 14-novel series, as part of a deal with Red Eagle Entertainment and Radar Pictures, while Rafe Judkins, who has credits on Agents of SHIELD, Chuck and Hemlock Grove, will write and produce. This is the first update since roughly this time last year when Jordan's widow, Harriet McDougal, confirmed that the series had landed at "a major studio".
