I thought you guys loved mid-western murderkino?
>>81763167
/tv/ only loves trash, BRRAAAPPPPTTT, and Jenna Fischer's feet.
Looking forward to sexy Mew gifs tho.
I stopped watching halfway through season 2, mistake?
Fargo sucks, Legion sucks, Hawley is a hack.
So is this any good or just normal Lynch shlock
it is both
if you love his brand of surrealism its pretty good. a lot of the b plots (especially in season 2) tend to drag but the main murder plot and later all the mythology opening up is neat. you can really tell where it had a lasting influence on shows even today.

It's bad, and if you ask someone and they say they enjoy it, they are worse than Hitler.
ill start
I think a sequel would be dumb mainly because they already killed the doctor and didn't really introduce anyone else of worth. At least Hellraiser had good evil characters so it made a sequel easy to do.
>>81762884
maybe i should have written "continuation" or something, prequel would be fine too.
you could explore the inner workings of the cult more and the doctors descent into madness.
and hopefully it would have a budget of 10 Mill.

>implying the doctor was mad
I'd seek power from the dark gods of the void if I could myself

That's what happens when you're rich and lead a life free of stress. That man probably hasn't had to work or worry since he vanished from the public eye like 10 years ago.

What's the contemporary film and television equivalent of a black Mammy?

She's bland but not annoying and I like the fact that TFA never made a big deal about her gender.
would
>>81762370
Her wordless character development scene where she put on the helmet was nice
>>81762370
Her teeth have many utilitarian purposes.
This wasn't nearly as bad as you led me to believe, /tv/.
>>81762365
Welcome to /tv/
This movie could've benefitted greatly if Pratt woke up a good actress instead
Yeah it was okay
I'll start. Only watched it because of Same Neil and Jorge Garcia (because I was a LOST fan).
I can't even remember a single thing about this show.
bumping with this too, the concept was pretty cool but the execution was pretty bad.
>>81762345
I remember this show ending abruptly after the first season. I actually kind of liked it.
>>81762345
I remember this being really trying and I was on the verge of quitting every episode I saw except for the finale which I think revealed someone from the prison was in the present, like the warden or something. Great concept, terrible execution, standard JJ material.
Any pro/amateur filmmakers here? What do you use for your lighting?

SHORT FILM GENERAL
>>81762138
Had a good kek at that one m8.
I haven't actually shot anything in like a year. It's getting a little ridiculous and difficult to justify for someone who says he wants to be a filmmaker.
Can't just keep posting the same few shorts over and over and over again, too. The one that has like 670 views is barely even finished and I shilled that shit for a year
>>81762304
post some of yours bro.
also maybe find some inspiration and get back into it! And I totally understand the justification part.
Also what part was funny?

Here's one I edited/acted in:

And here's one I directed.

I hate both of them for different reasons. The former because the music editing was kinda shitty, and the latter because of the script and acting (and the sound, please ignore that).
I have some scripts I'm writing, hopefully what I come up with for those will be better. Here's one I've been fooling with recently, old opening but I've figured out where to go with it.

Also I just sorta found the slowly diminishing funds kinda funny. Simple but effective.
