Huh, I've been having a similar problem. The movie Ladder 49 was on tv the other day and it was pretty enjoyable. So I went looking for the first 48 to watch the story from the beginning, but I haven't been able to find anything. It's like no such films exist.

Also, there are indigenous communities in almost every country on earth, and most people don’t know that, so if I can help make people aware of these communities that are ignored or discriminated against, then maybe together we can all learn from each other and recognise that there are lots of different ways of living and we should respect that and support them. My dad also helped run a school, so I know that every school has a wish-list, and for sure some schools need more help than others. It’s not just about money, either, because everybody can give respect without cost.

I thought it was a good idea, just poorly executed. The "Daughter" looked about 30, and the acting was poor throughout.
It's original, so bonus points for that.

If the First Order is just a vestigious of the Empire, how could they have the resources to build the Starkiller base?
And why even build it? The Rebels destroyed the Death Star I and II and the Executor with virtually no losses. That's why no Navy has Battleships and no Army has gigantic fortress anymore.
This whole flick was a fucking tremendous calamity trainwreck.

I'm really sick of Mark Hamill bitching that they didn't write it they way he would've. He's not a writer, he's an actor, his understanding of Luke as a character isn't gospel, let the writers do something different. Kasdan understand Star Wars more than Mark Hamill, clearly, Mark is a decent actor but his ideas are fucking dumb, just because he's Luke, doesn't mean his ideas are better than the people who are working on it.
It was a big risk to have him only appear at the ned of Force Awakens, he shouldn't have been there when Han died like he's saying, it wouldn't have made sense first of all and having all of the old cast in the Force Awakens would've overshadowed the new cast entirely.

Anticlimatic as fuck and pretty much finally made me drop the show. The fat martian fuck who cannot act for shit should've gotten crushed by the elevator regardless of book characters. Unfortunately as it stands she has a thick plot armor in and i simply cannot stomach the horrible writing and acting of a ruined character for several seasons to come.
Not to mention that Amos is the only likable and interesting character remaining in the show that isnt ruined by dogshit writing, bad acting or miscasting.
Unfortunate since the show was great and worthwhile scifi shows are hard to come by, back to rewatch marathons i guess.
