Did you even watch the fucking film before making your post?
>>81965555
>>81965555

>>81965555
Damn Son.
I didn't know this movie was about Jesus?
>>81853599
Why wouldn't the movie "Ben Hur" be about Yoshua Ben Hur?
You know the movie Lincoln is about Abraham Lincoln right?
>>81853599
It is. Anyways, as a non-religious person I did love this film a lot.
JESUS?
How do the sequels hold up to the first one? Are any of them even worth watching?
I liked Dead Mans Chest, not as good as the first one
Third had a cool battle scene it sucked overall
Dont bother with the fourth, except maybe for one quick scene involving Spainards
>>81965830
This. Watch the second then stop
1+2+3 are good
the rest are shit
So, I just saw this movie and it was entertaining. The thing is that I couldn't find the previous one anywhere.
I tried searching Pompe and Pompe I but the only results I could find are Pompe II so I was wondering if any of you know where to find it.
Huh, I've been having a similar problem. The movie Ladder 49 was on tv the other day and it was pretty enjoyable. So I went looking for the first 48 to watch the story from the beginning, but I haven't been able to find anything. It's like no such films exist.
>Mr. Eko

Did it work? Is my time transport a success? It seems I've made it back to the year 2002!
>CDM: I love your Official Finn Wolfhard t-shirt, especially the fact that proceeds from each t-shirt are "donated directly by me to an elementary school in an indigenous community struggling with geographic, cultural or economic isolation". It’s a really rad cause - when did you become aware of the lack of funding in indigenous communities?
>FINN: My dad was a lawyer and is now an indigenous rights researcher, so there is talk and historical awareness of indigenous issues in our house all the time. Lots of people don’t even care about indigenous communities, but in my schools there are members of aboriginal communities facing challenges just being who they are. Also, there are indigenous communities in almost every country on earth, and most people don’t know that, so if I can help make people aware of these communities that are ignored or discriminated against, then maybe together we can all learn from each other and recognise that there are lots of different ways of living and we should respect that and support them. My dad also helped run a school, so I know that every school has a wish-list, and for sure some schools need more help than others. It’s not just about money, either, because everybody can give respect without cost.
>CDM: Are there any other issues that you’re passionate about that you’d like to use your platform to raise awareness for?
>FINN: We have really affordable health-care in Canada but we have so many friends in the U.S. who don’t, so I auctioned a signed guitar for Sweet Relief, which helps musicians in need. I’m also hosting an all-ages event at The Fonda in LA in May and some awesome musicians are going to help raise even more money for Sweet Relief.
Finn is a filthy socialist. I knew I hated this kid.

Can someone explain to me why this movie is shit?
It is a 7/10 for me, horror kino
>>81852762
The woman gets blacked in the end.
>>81852762
It's alright but the sequels are better.
>>81852762
Some people love it.
I thought it was a good idea, just poorly executed. The "Daughter" looked about 30, and the acting was poor throughout.
It's original, so bonus points for that.
DAT KINO
How is that even fair?
Did i miss the threads or is /tv/ not discussing Fargo ? What's happening ?
>>81855227
We've had a complete breakdown. After worshipping MEW's ass for years, just showing it like that reduced most of us into bumbling morons. And others are thrown into suicidal depression.
If the First Order is just a vestigious of the Empire, how could they have the resources to build the Starkiller base?
And why even build it? The Rebels destroyed the Death Star I and II and the Executor with virtually no losses. That's why no Navy has Battleships and no Army has gigantic fortress anymore.
This whole flick was a fucking tremendous calamity trainwreck.
>only one star destroyer
>only one planet size weapon that needs a sun to fire once
why are they a threat again?
>>81964790
>how could they have the resources to build the Starkiller base?
First Order is space USSR or North Korea. They can afford to spend 40% of their budget on military because its brutal dictatorship.
Empire was a regular state that needed to fund all shit from welfare to education.
>And why even build it?
In the movie it wiped out New Republic's navy, capitol and several planets. So clearly it was worth it.
>>81964828
Because apparently the New Republic is still using a poorly armed and equipped geurrilla force as its standing military.
I'm really sick of Mark Hamill bitching that they didn't write it they way he would've. He's not a writer, he's an actor, his understanding of Luke as a character isn't gospel, let the writers do something different. Kasdan understand Star Wars more than Mark Hamill, clearly, Mark is a decent actor but his ideas are fucking dumb, just because he's Luke, doesn't mean his ideas are better than the people who are working on it.
It was a big risk to have him only appear at the ned of Force Awakens, he shouldn't have been there when Han died like he's saying, it wouldn't have made sense first of all and having all of the old cast in the Force Awakens would've overshadowed the new cast entirely.
Hi Mickey
They did kinda take a dump on luke as a character by making him a sith. I'd be mad too.
>>81852720
He wanted Luke to become a sith originally in episode 6
I don't think that's what happened, those are rumors.
What did you guys think?
The ship deconstruction was pretty cool/
well yeah
still, somehow anticlimactic but a good stopping point before the final season
still it felt bit anticlimactic being only an intermediate climax compared to the end of the book two, which I assume s3 will culminate with
>>81852497
>final season
don't start
>>81852339
Anticlimatic as fuck and pretty much finally made me drop the show. The fat martian fuck who cannot act for shit should've gotten crushed by the elevator regardless of book characters. Unfortunately as it stands she has a thick plot armor in and i simply cannot stomach the horrible writing and acting of a ruined character for several seasons to come.
Not to mention that Amos is the only likable and interesting character remaining in the show that isnt ruined by dogshit writing, bad acting or miscasting.
Unfortunate since the show was great and worthwhile scifi shows are hard to come by, back to rewatch marathons i guess.
Which one was your favorite and why?
>>81963858
which decade?
90s = Nick
00s =Cartoon Network/Disney
10s = ?
>>81963858

idk about now
>>81963858
Disney was always shit, I don't know how anyone could even stomach it.
