>I asked Michael why it was easier to train oil drillers to become astronauts than it was to train astronauts to become oil drillers, and he told me to shut the fuck up, so that was the end of that talk

It's good that Affleck eventually learned that you shouldn't let tactical realism get in the way of a good story
>>82106846
I don't want to close my eyes!
>>82106846
Why do manchildren think he won here? He shut the fuck up.
Stupid white people, don't you understand that William was the VILLIAN

Respect
They didn't plan to kill her off. The actress died in real life.
>>82106704
No shit. So why film that whole awkward, out of place scene with garbage gci for some minor exposition that doesn't really affect the rest of the plot?
Is there a /tv/-equivalent of this character?

Kys manchild

There was already a TV show
24 days until the premiere.
>still no trailer
I saw the first two scenes on Hulu, is it hard to follow?
>>82106719
Hard to follow? Not really.
I'm the only one who love this movie?
In 1989 for me this was better than motherfucking Batman and The abyss
>mfw "what a pair"
It's literally Alien and The Thing compressed into one movie, set underwater and has based Weller as the lead. I watch it pretty often.
>>82106415
Be honest.... is it actually worth a watch? I fucking love Alien and The Thing. Just not sure if elements from those movies make it as good though.
What's with all the support and praise for this show, it doesn't make sense to me.
I have watched the show. It didn't seem too out-of-this-world to me.
>>82106200
You could say the same about every single Netflix original show, just don't bother.
Viral marketing.
>>82106200
Concept is decent enough, but its end message seems to be 'if things suck, kill yourself'
thoughs?

Honestly
Why did tony have a holographic recording of his dead parents and why did he show it to a group of college kids?
And why didn't he care about all those people that died in Age of Ultron unless it was a black American kid?
>>82106133
>Why did tony have a holographic recording of his dead parents
It wasn't a recording.
>and why did he show it to a group of college kids?
To show what his invention does. Did you not watch the movie? He says what it is and what it does.
>And why didn't he care about all those people that died in Age of Ultron unless it was a black American kid?
Because until then none of it had gotten in his face, just like Afganistan.
to force the winter soldier angle and conflict
There was a fucken exposition scene right after that, wtf are you doing?
Why are the star wars prequels held in such low regard? If I had to choose, I personally I think I might have actually liked them better than the original trilogy overall, but either way all 6 episodes synergize and the original trilogy wouldn't have been as good without the prequels.
Sure, the prequels had some dumb moments, mostly poor comedy involving jar jar and C3PO, but other than that they were on point I think. The plot felt more realistic and grounded as there were whole organizations and political plays that felt like they actually mattered. This is unlike in the original trilogy where the story is basically just Luke vs Vader and the emperor, and the whole rebel vs empire aspect feels just wishy-washy, as if they don't really matter because everything comes down to the people with the force anyway.
thanks for the blog post on a twenty year old movie that people only saw when it came out because of nostalia or they were ten years old.
faggot
>>82106061
desu they arent very good
but, looking at the current state of blockbusters post say 2008 theyre definetly not worse than most of those
>>82106061
The prequels, even ESB and RoTJ, are all about criticising the naive adventuring of A New Hope. The rebels, the republic, the jedi, everyone gets criticised and exposed as misguided and flawed and an especially big point is that Palpatine was able to become the supreme ruler of the galaxy because the republic had no real leadership or vision.

No good movie has to throw so much excess advertising out. If it's good and the people that are making it are confident that itll be a success, there is no need for all this pre movie material. Sorry, it's gonna be a 6/10 for sure.
What do you think his tax policy was?
