Has anyone here written a feature-length screenplay? How long did it take?
>>82439349
Took about 2 months for me, then i read it over again and hated a lot of things.
I feel like no matter what i'll never be satisfied.
>>82439399
What was it about?
>>82439349
Currently finishing Act II. At about 80 pages or so, only the first draft.

WE FINALLY MADE IT /TV/! THE FATIGUE IS FINALLY KILLING CAPESHIT!!
>only 138 million
>projections were at 160 million
>You don't have to thank me anon
>>82438725
What comes after capeshit? More starshit?
I didn't even know this was out.
Must be a real turd.
How old were you when you realized Revenge of the Sith was actually the best Star Wars movie?
Childhood is idolizing Revenge of the Sith.
Adulthood is realizing The Phantom Menace makes more sense.
When you really sit back and think about it the prequels had a better story than the OT
>>82438680
This. Phantom Meance is the only good prequel.
How does /tv/ feel about The Last Jedi being a remake of the Empire Strikes Back?
Some early similarities have already been discovered
>There's a battle with AT-ATs (pic related)
>Rey is trained by an old Jedi living in a tree.
>Finn is shown recovering in a medical pod (similar to the Bacta Pod Luke used in ESB)
>The First Order literally strikes back after the destruction of Star Killer Base.
>A rumored opening scene shows an attack on a hidden Resistance base similar to the attack on Hoth, followed by the AT-AT scene mentioned earlier.
How does /tv/ feel about seeing Empire Strikes Back: Part 2?
>>82438385
>Star Killer Base
>this was a thing
>this actually happened.
god damn this franchise is fucking doomed. and the worst part is, its just going to keep making more and more money.
why did you sell out george.
I have literally no hope for Episode 8. Disney already proved that they don't give a single shit about Star Wars except for using it as another cash cow like Marvel, which by the way is the reason why they're pumping out a new film every year for the rest of eternity. Episode 8 is going to be more of the same: An OT nostalgia-pandering rehash that will do nothing new or interesting, and manbabies and normies will be perfectly fine with this because "DUDE LUKE SKYWALKER IS BACK LMAO XD".
Star Wars is dead.
>>82438385
It's just another money maker. Let it be whatever they want it to be.
Can someone explain to me why normies watch this garbage? But it's not just that they love watching it, they believe it to be the greatest shit that humanity has ever conceived in the medium of television. Why?
>>82437880
>normies
you have your answer
they depict characters more interesting than them in more interesting situations and with harder problems than they have, letting htem escape the mundane existence they live in that's otherwise inescapable
>>82437880
>it's not just that they love watching it
Yes it is.
>>82437880
Westworld and GoT S1 are legit good, though. Not the greatest thing in the world, but very good.
Why was the Devil in Star Wars?
hahaha upvote! I got that meme XD!!!!
>>82436867
FARBLE BLUBT!
Because a galaxy far far away was actually heaven.
>earns cool $10m a year
>whores himself out for a free healthcare
why?
>>82436593
When did talk shows go so downhill?
Whenever i watch them i want them to succeed and be funny so bad but i always end up cringing for the most of it
Because if he didn't, he'd be a Hollywood pariah. If he wants guests on his show, he needs to play their game of identity politics. It's sad - but not new news - he's become a slave.
Because it's right.
b-but why?
>>82436362
I like how everyone dresses normally except for the 1 whiney faggot who cries about being objectified
>>82436442

>>82436214

>>82436214
Yes. Also>>82436233
>>82436233
So is this an accurate depiction of what a crew would go through without the gellar fields up or is that just a meme
Ah, the danish! Clearly from Brussels.
Well La Di Da
Well, la - di - da.
>>82435725
Ah, OP! Clearly a Faggot.
This movie is LITERALLY and I mean LITERALLY reditt.
I felt physical rage when Groot started dancing in the credits, I started clenching my teeth when TOO ADORABLE TOO KILL happened, I started screaming and punching the girl next to Memelord turned into a fucking Pacman during what was supossed to be the climax of the movie, the cinema police had to scort me out of the room when the third after credits scenes with teenager Groot happened.
This movie is fucking shit, is the embodiment of reditt. That fucking tree might as well had said, out loud and proudly I AM REDITT and Marvel would had had their first piece of honest filmaking, because that's obviously their target audience.
>>82435682
>normies ruin everything
You just now discovered this?
>>82435682
>marvel movie is reddit
Water i wet, more news at 11
>>82435682
don't know why you're comparing it to reddit but i did think it was poorly written and boring.
Wow. Just went to go see this high and it was actually fucking amazing. I thought my favorite movie series was the captain America but it honestly might be guardians of the galaxy now. Amazing emotional plot full of well placed comedic relief. Not to mention the mind blowing CGI. 9.5/10
I agree and I am not OP again.
Jokes were well timed and moderate. All characters got developed and got the necessary screentime. The universe as a whole was expanded to "marvel" ( :) ) the audience.
Can this also be a Rocket appreciation thread? I'm surprised they made him even hotter in the sequel. unf!
The only reason why critics gave Guardians bad reviews was because they're just getting sick of Marvel Movies. The rest is just nitpicking.
