When did this show become so fucking reddit?

Also the ending, why let someone out if he'll be blocked by everyone, doesn't seem possible to go about in society that way, he'll just be a danger to himself and others.

Great episode otherwise.

Recently I watched the first one and i found it to be really boring, did I miss something? The story wasn't exciting and I never got in to it. How did it become such a big franchise?

With the second film obviously. You went in with expectations of getting a post-apocalyptic action adventure and psyched yourself out of enjoying a superb post-apocalyptic crime drama.

the first one is very low budget. it's more of a cult film than anything. it's a fairly unique world that you get dropped into, which usually translates to developing a dedicated audience, however large. I didn't particularly like it

the second and third are grander. I thought they were better, and more fully realised, but I can't say I loved them. you watched the odd one out in the series, so if you're confused about why it's popular, that's why

fury road is basically worlds away from the original in production value and action. you could call it a lot of things but boring is not one of them.

The Wailing.
Starts of as a quirky korean comedy and end up as a full on horror, and it's pulled of quite good actually.

i would watch it if it still stars Radcliffe and Watson pretending they're elementary schoolers.

I am guessing that it is already in the works but takes another two or three years to get anywhere

It makes sense if you consider the movies in chronological order. Leia wasn't set up as a sex symbol at all in the first two movies, just a bad-ass female character, so people became attracted to her gradually, the same way Han Solo did, rather than in a porn way. Then seeing her in a bikini was like whoa, that cute but not hot girl who's a badass is actually hot, too.

Episode 6ish

I know it's a meme

but it actually does. The first few episodes are weird and seem like a completly different writing team. The family guy style cutaways are almost completly gone by the end of the season, and the characters are all much more fleshed out and non stereotypical. First couple episodes have Todd, Mister Peanutbutter and Princess Carolyn seem like completly different characters to who they are for the rest of the series.

It's like they were too scared to commit to what they actually wanted to write straight away and turned up the generic sitcom dial to start off the show.
