WHAT THE FUCK
>>82850431
This is the most kino slice of life scene in all of media
>>82850431
So the sign is way too big for the text? LOL
No, it was formerly named Chuck's Feed and Seed. The joke is that people think Sneed intentionally named the store that way
Slowly coming to realize that I have been lied to by the media my whole life and I in fact will not marry a Disney princess. How did you come to terms with this sham? Is there any reason to stay neet?
>>82850301
idk man I was never a retard like you
>>82850315
Well we all can't be Mr. Awesome
>>82850301
Wanna marry a Disney Princess? Move to Orlando or LA. They're a dime a dozen in those places.
Now that I'm 30 I can't take any actors seriously that are around my age or younger. I just assume they are just as annoying/dumb as me and my coworkers.
How can anyone get passed this? It seems impossible, but I'm not sure if it's just because I haven't watched any tv or movies in years.
shut up geezer
>>82850258
>I just assume they are just as annoying/dumb as me and my coworkers.
>he actually admits he ever thought otherwise
I know what you mean. its more or less ruined most forms of media for me, especially music.
Has anyone here watched this show? What did you think of it? Despite being a rather "dark and gritty" version of anne of green gables, I still found it pretty comfy. What are your thoughts on the cliffhanger ending?
Also, Ruby best girl.
I'd rather watch Anne with a 'D' if you catch my drift

So was Jared's big "I'll kill for you, terrorize people into killing themselves for you!" speech just a nerd talking big to make him seem important to Richard? Or has Jared actually done half the shit he claimed he's willing to do violence-wise for Richard?
>>82850058
It was a mix of the former and the later both.
While the writers have portrayed Jared consistently as a loser who everyone bullies (to the point of stripping him of his actual name), they've made cryptic references over the years that he's capable of violence and is a walking time bomb that is one bad day from exploding.
>>82850164
He also fucks
>>82850164
Also, he had no trouble whatsoever getting laid the moment he set out to do so. So yeah, he might be well capable of killing a man if he needs to cross that line.
Will they ever turn this into a movie or a show? I could see this being a pretty cool show on HBO or some other premium network.
>>82850038
it's actually campy as fuck
Fuck
what are some vampire kinos /tv/?

brainwashed cuckold brought it on himself.

I never understood the Bill Nye hate meme. He made science cool for kids and wears a fucking bow tie. There's nothing there to even be mad at.
Will I get my heart broken being hyped for the Irishman?
>Scorsese
>De Niro
>Pacino
>Pesci
>Pacino
>Keitel
And a script adapted from the book by Zaillian. If this were the 90s this would have the potential to be a bonafide gangster classic. Maybe it still does. Scorsese as good as ever. Al can still turn it on when he wants. De Niro has been out of form for a long time though and Pesci has acted like twice in the last 20 years.
sounds like a cashgrab to me
never get hyped for anything
>>82849915
Could be but I feel like it's Netflix's attempt to prove they can make a critically acclaimed film.
They've spent $105 million on it and I can't see them making that back in subscriptions.
Seems more like an investment in industry respect.
>>82849854
Grotesque. De Niro with a bunch of CG bullshit on his face, proving that his loss of talent is total. Al Pacino, disfigured for vanity's sake, unrecognisable as the man he was. Pesci, never really an actor, now an Ent. Scorsese, clapped-out, disillusioned and nearly done, making a cash-in that won't earn. Not my idea of fun.
What is your favorite Simpsons episode?
Has Trump ever been in a simpsons episode?
>it's ANOTHER /pol/ bait thread
>>82850352
They aren't even trying anymore.
Was this kino?
Literally watching this now OP. It's very slow for a horror movie the characters seem alright and I have a feeling it's gonna get good, as long as it stays bloody.
Also I haven't seen Matthew Fox in anything that wasn't Lost since that Vantage Point movie so this is a treat.
>>82849883
is a slow burn anon there is a grisly as fuck scene at the end that i reccomend you skip cause
1. it adds nothing to the story
2. its realistic in its savagery to a point
3.felt nauseated thinking about it even 2 days later and im not a wimp when it comes to gore.
4. or dont
5. >tfw daddy russel will never be your cowbro

Can we get an underrated movie thread going? Shit like State of Grace, The Funeral, Bad Dreams, etc.?
Could QT have done a better job with his script than Tony Scott did? Hard to believe, since this is still one of the most purely entertaining movies ever made, but I'm just curious what Tarantula might have done differently.
Also, did anyone else watch Ralphie's fight with Tony in the Sopranos and NOT think of pic related?
Most underrated movie ever.
>>82849478
Your premiss indicates that you'd like to discuss underrated movies but your subject and the rest of your post indicates that you're only interested in discussing True Romance, which is actually adequately rated and very well-known.
>>82849539
An astute observation (at least for someone who can't spell 'premise', just busting balls a little...), because I was going to originally make this a thread about how different True Romance and Natural Born Killers would have turned out if Quentin Tarantino had directed them. Then I started thinking that a significant gaggle of /tv/ posters might not even be aware that Tarantino wrote both of those movies, so the conversation might devolve into 'Yeah, and what if Eli Roth directed The Prestige' and 'What if Cronenberg directed The Hangover' and God knows what else.
Then I figured that it didn't really matter. Oliver Stone wanted to make a statement on the glorification if violence in the media, while QT probably just intended it to be a bloody Bonnie and Clyde rehash. You don't really have to think much to see Stone's handprints on Natural Born Killers.
True Romance was a bit different, because I would genuinely be interested in what Quentin might have done differently, but I'm not altogether sure anyone could name 5 Tony Scott movies, much less elucidate on where his directorial decisions may have delineated from Tarantino's script.
The casting of the film was also legendary. It was James Gandolfin I'd first role, and he knocked it out of the park. Any film that gives Walken, Hopper, Chris Penn, Tom Sizemore Sam Jackson, and Gary Oldman all barely ten minutes of screentime is amazing. But browsing through the threads, I'm not sure if anyone cares because it's not a cartoon, a superhero movie, or a YouTube channel.
I threw in the 'underrated movies' thing at the end so maybe this could gain some traction in another way. Basically, I wanted to make a thread that wouldn't die out after 40 replies for people sick of a lot of the board's recent content. And the three movies I mentioned in the OP are all underrated as fuck. Fair enough?
