OP here. I will not be providing any further input into this thread. I want to see what a natural Werner Herzog thread on /tv/ will be like. No interference, just /tv/ commenting on Werner Herzog and his works.
Please continue.
But why?

I'm in the middle of a re-watch myself, though I had to take a break.
Think I'm like 1/3 into season 6.
Why is SG1 the best sci-fi series ever made, yet it doesn't get the same love as Star Wars/Trek?
rodney is here
How does it stack up to the original?
Is it as good as the originals worst, best or what?
I'm really enjoying it. Jokes come pretty fast but that's okay.
I've watched the first half of the first episode. Posted about this before. Still haven't mustered up the gumption to continue.
I'm not agin it, just haven't watched more than the first half of the first episode yet.
less comfy than the original.
>They cast this guy as Commissioner Gordon.
*wheezing laugh* ...You serious?
>>83087715
Yeah as much as I like J.K. this doesnt feel right. The guy in Nolan's Batman trilogy is the best.
What made Nolan's Batman movies so good (apart from the forgettable TDKR) is that they didnt feel like comic book movies
>>83087763
Gary Oldman? Yeah, he's the best in pretty much everything. I don't have anything against Spongebob/J. Jonah Jameson, but I wish they'd just cast Oldman again. He's perfect.
Side note, what the fuck is with that creepy guy in the background of the picture I posted? Is that Ben Affleck?
Mmmmhhhh.
Miss us yet?

What did Truman mean by this?
I love Bobby, best teen character from the show
2049 is going to have absolute shit pacing compared tot he first one because everyone has ADD nowadays

le wrong generation, fucking plebs right XD

Justice League has too many quips, the color palatte is terrible, J.K. Simmons as Gordon won't have that emotion or soul that Nolan's Gordon had. He seems too much like a cardboard cutout animated character.
The next Star Wars installment will be shit because everyone got over the hype of the first one, and it will be uneven because of the rewrites due to Fischer's death.
Anyone here seen the Australian television series Seven Types of Ambiguity?

i'm looking for a show with lots of women in underwear, is this my show?
Maybe its because I just finished Sopranos, but my god this show fucking sucks so far. Im two episodes in, and the dialouge is fucking embarassingly bad at times. This show also explains every single thing to your fucking face. Nothing about the characters is left for you to figure out yourself, everything has to be bluntly said. Subtlety is a apparently unkown to these writers
Does it get better as it goes on?
Oh yah, and THIS. THIS FUCKING FLASHBACK, is one of the cringiest most unbearable things Ive ever seen on a tv show.
Twin Peaks is a pretty good litmus test to see if a user is underage. if they complain about the dialogue and melodrama... there's your sign.
>>83087205
>complaining about the quality of dialogue makes you underage
Youre gonna have to explain that one to me
ITT: subtlety in film
>subtlety
What did Mel Gibson mean by this?
ITT: Post a movie character that's literally you

Here is a picture of widely acclaimed American director James Cameron. His favorite guilty pleasure to watch is the first Resident evil movie. Whats yours and why?
I like watching the first half of Avatar then turning it off.
I don't really have guilty pleasures. Why the fuck should I feel guilty about what I like?

Frozen
Just a couple of movies I'm embarrassed to say I love watching over and over again.

Chopper is great. Not as kino as Wake in Fright, but still an incredibly fun watch.

What's the point of comparing it to Wake in Fright? Did you just want to name drop it so people know that you're aware of Auskino? Apples and Oranges my friend
Hey Vasquez, have you ever been mistaken for a man?
that butch wasnt even mexican it was a fucking white wash again
They say the actress couldn't lug the smart gun prop around and had to set it down all the time or get a man to carry it for her between takes.
Her death was kinda badass though
