It's kind of weird, creepy and uncomfortable to watch.

please be in london
very real movie, not a lie in it.
A movie about an actual psychotic killer exploring how society and the audience can cheer for a murdering psychotic if he kills the right people.
Great score and overall very good. But I like Mean Streets a bit more
>The Holy Mountain and The Thing are going to appear on a big screen near me over the next few weeks

OH WOW
SHE'S STILL UGLY

Comparing Cara & Alicia Vikander's nudity in this film It dawned on me even harsher then before the monumental negligence it would require to cast Lara Croft with a actress that makes Cara fucking Delevingne look like Christina Hendricks.
This is incompetence on level unseen in human history.
Who will play them in the inevitable biopic?
The most sadist crimes I've ever read about.
If you don't want to come off as a shitpost, introduce them to the class, OP. Give your prospective audience something to work with. Not everyone is on a facial recog basis with base murderers.

>Lawrence Bittaker and Roy Harris
>Two guys that met in prison and decided to kidnap, rape, and torture teenage girls while recording it.
>The most bizarre murder they committed is Shirley Ledford.
>The audio tape of her being raped and beaten with a sledgehammer was played in the courtroom. The audio tape, which had been found inside Bittaker's van and which Norris had earlier testified Bittaker had repeatedly played as he drove in the weeks prior to his arrest—adding that Bittaker considered the contents to be "real funny"— was presented in evidence on January 29, with Stephen Kay forewarning the jury: "For those of you who do not know what hell is like, you will find out."
>More than 100 people were present in the courtroom as the tape was played, and many members of both the jury and the audience wept openly upon hearing the contents, with several members of the audience either burying their heads in their hands, daubing tears from their eyes or rushing out of the courtroom before the tape had finished. Bittaker was undisturbed at hearing the contents of the tape—smiling throughout the hearing of the recording.
>Stephen Kay, the prosecutor at Bittaker's trial, still considers the murders committed by Bittaker and Norris as being the worst criminal case he has ever prosecuted or encountered, and remains insistent in his belief that Bittaker deserves to be executed more than any other inmate incarcerated on California's death row. In interviews, he has stated that for over two years following the trial of Lawrence Bittaker, his sleep was disturbed by recurring nightmares in which he would be rushing to Bittaker's van to prevent harm coming to the girls, but would "always get there too late."

>Detective Paul Bynum, the chief investigator of the murders committed by Bittaker and Norris, committed suicide in December 1987. He was 39 years old. In a ten-page suicide note, Bynum specifically referred to the murders committed by Bittaker and Norris as haunting him, and of his fear they may be released from prison.
#1 cliché: hero drinks and doesn't want to help anymore
#2 cliché: hero beats up some southern racists
#3 cliché: racists show up in bigger numbers, and get beat up some more
#4 cliché: cute girl ends up being biggest badass in the whole universe (i.e. Dark Angel, Serenity, Let the Right One In, Fire starter..... come on, kids! Fill in the blank!)
#5 cliché: they reach a sanctuary populated by kids of every PC color in the rainbow
#6 cliché: hero dies so feminist-power poster girl gets to lead the multi-ethnic band of future X-Men/women/transgender-what-the-hells.

Now explain to me how each of those things are bad without simply resorting to calling them cliches.

Anyone else watched this yet? I thought it was pretty good. Decently funny, some nice looking shots of the country. Dramatic aspects were very strange though, maybe it's because I haven't seen the first 2 in the series but they were completely irrelevant to most of the conversations, and were barely even brought up. Brilliant ending though.
I liked Trip to Italy better. The tone of the ending is just weird.
I thought it was funnier than the other two but overall something was slightly off with it, like certain elements were forced for story and character development rather than it feeling natural
I liked it a lot but it was the first one where I was really distracted by the way they talk very loudly in relatively quiet restaurants and the people around them don't react at all. Everyone would be annoyed with them yelling that much. The other series are even better op you should check them out as well.
What should I watch this evening /tv/?
>watch a film
>suddenly get the realisation these are normal people who are paid to say these words and convey these emotions
>stop watching film
This is why animation is the superior format
>It's a good film, just not a good [source material] film

Who also watches /tv/ while shitting? There's no better way to watch your kinos
What the fuck, are you 80?
It takes me 30 seconds at most to shit, so no.
I do watch /tv/ in the bath though. Ultimate comfy.
if it takes you more than 10 seconds to shit, you need more fiber. sitting is unhealthy and strains you, so you also need to squat. do these things and your shit will launch out like a rocket
