Thoughts on Louie CK?
Personally, I just LOVE his rants. I nearly spilled my cheetos and Mountain Dew laughing so hard.

The lovely Nia, everybody!

What am I in for?

The ultimate reason why 9/11 happened.
>If you kill your enemies, your enemies win
Why is that?
>>83553950
In his case killing Se7en is unlawful and immoral
>>83553950
doe wanted to die by his hand, it was the next step in his master plan
>>83553950
Because John Doe's mission was accomplished. You're giving the antagonist exactly what he wants, and all you get out of it is a string of bodies and your pregnant wife's decapitated head in a box.
After seeing Wonder Woman with a group of people we went out for drinks. Among the dumb shit I heard from women:
>There were more guys there than I expected.
>Isn't it weird for a man to see a woman on the screen doing heroic things?
>I thought it was the best superhero movie because it featured a woman.
>>83553814
absolutely, i say i didn't like the movie and give logic reasons about why, and i get insulted by two co workers ...
women are crybabies
You tried discussing a movie with anyone, It boils down to "this part was cool " "I liked this part" etc
(((They))) designed this movie to enforce that kind of thinking in women
When are they going to make this into a movie already? Also who should be cast as Holden Caulfield?
Emma Watson seems like a good fit.
Do you think her not being able to act would be a problem?
Is she literally the most gorgeous woman in the world? Never really cared for her because didn't watch HP but the way she carries herself is just so
>>83553770
Because the Salinger estate will most likely not give up the rights as to honour J. D. Salinger' request to not make one unless they needed the money.
...
So he de facto killed Ra's Al Ghul, right? I mean, if I choose not to save someone in the real world and I 100% could have, I'll be going to jail.
>>83553742
No, you have no legal obligation to put yourself in danger to help others, or to generally help others at all
>>83553742
He didn't just de facto kill him, he ordered the hit. He even supplied the murder weapon.
He saw that he was on the monorail and ordered Gordon to take a tank and blow out the supports, causing Ra's al Ghul to die. That's murder.
Well, maybe not murder. You could argue self-defence since he blew up the train in order to save human life. But he definitely killed him, yes.
He also tackles Harvey Dent out of a window and literally shoots at Talia's truck until she crashes it and dies. Nolan's "one rule" is absolute bullshit.
>if I choose not to save someone in the real world and I 100% could have, I'll be going to jail.

Daily reminder that Mad Men is truly one of the GOAT series of all time.
I just finished S6:E3 (To Have and to Hold). Underrated episode. Very dark. How can the show maintain such a stark look and be so beautiful at the same time, even though most of the series is filmed in offices, bedrooms, restaurants and bars? It's almost entirely filmed inside.
Is season 6 the best?
6 is excellent, yes. Very dark and in its way insular. 7b is pure telekino. The 1-2 punch of Signal 30 and Faraway Places in 5 is amazing too.
Just finished the box set with commentary and extras and stuff, just brilliant. You really learn a lot.
Anything similar to Mad Men in novel form?
>"Just keep talking to her because she's a partner! At least my accomplishments happened in broad daylight.”
>"What do you mean?"
>"You know damn well what I mean!"

THIS SUMMER
AN ANCIENT EVIL
AWAKENS
A farmer (Hendricks) accidentally brings her own breast milk to peddle at the farmer's market rather than the usual cow's milk that she sells. She is shocked to see that her customers are now raving about her milk, saying it's the best milk in the world. Not wanting to disappoint her legions of new fans, Hendricks begins milking herself constantly in order to keep up with demand. Nobody suspects a thing about the milk that's all the rage. Nobody, but a spunky child reporter (Ariel) who tries to catch the busty farmer in her lie. When the reporter finds out that her brother's hospital bills will increase tenfold, she is forced to join in the breast milk racket. Will they be able to satisfy increasing demand, while keeping their secret safe?

Why is no one talking about Life?
this was the alien movie i wanted to see when i watched covenant
very nice comfy scifi horror
>>83553221
Alien Covenant > Life
Life was, without hyperbole, one of the worst films I've ever seen in my life.
I'm sorry that you were born retarded anon.
>>83553221
That ending was pretty fucking tight.
Does anyone remember when /tv/ believed this shit?
>>83553060
i never believed it. It didn't make sense seeing as the Former WB employee was never named (sign of FAKE NEWS) and the movie wasn't even finished filming yet , let alone edited.
>implying the third act isn't a mess
>>83553238
I fell asleep during the third act, how was it revealed that David Thewlis was Ares?
Did anyone else see Live By Night? Ben Affleck looked so sad in this film. I'm starting to worry that he's actually depressed.
>>83552870
https://youtu.be/ZjyrkjqpF80
it was good. not great tho. he's sad because WB gave him a hard time for trying to make this and made it flop so he couldn't leave batman
I saw the accountant. We could talk about that one instead
great film, this and the accountant
doesn't look sad to me, he also fucked a hotie in the former and bragged about it in the interviews
Surprised how universally hated it seems to be atm

It's hated because it's shit.
