Mind that edge, son

His daughter saw early cuts of Justice League
Why are 20 min shows so rare? This one is not particularly good, but the 20 min format alone makes it good.
can be worse
There are comedy shows 120 minutes long per episode.

>A new featurette, “Reimagining The Mist,” explores how the show’s creator turned a 180-page novella into a series, while still staying true to the spirit of King’s tale.
>Quite obviously, the TV version of The Mist won’t confine its action to a single supermarket, and it will bring several new characters into the fold—as well as delve deeper into elements that are only hinted at on the page. “It’s like a weird cousin to the [2007] movie or to the original story, with clear points of inspiration and plot points that are all the same,” explains showrunner Christian Torpe. “And yet it’s sort of its own beast.”

People shit on American adaptations of anime too hard. They're never great but at the very least there's some production value behind them.
I don't know what the fuck is wrong with these Japanese anime movies but they look like they're made straight to YouTube.
Seriously. I'm a big fan of the source material, and changes aside, it wasn't such a bad capeflick. I honestly don't know why people hate it. It was a fun, cape summer movie.
Johnny was funny, Ben was his usual angsty self and had good bits due to Chilkis, Alba and... the other guy were okay (seriously, the guy playing Reed has to be the unluckiest of the actors) and McMahon's Doom was okay as an AU (science sorcerer is the best version, but eh, he was enjoyable). He brought the hammy with him, looked European and the costume wasn't half bad.
Is it a perfect flick? No. Is it even a good film? Not really. Is it completely average and comfy though? Sure. It's like watching Suits. You're not getting anything out of it, but hey, it's a good time-passer.
Post more such flicks /tv/.

i just want a MCU movie with them that it's not an origin story ffs.
>>83730979
For all of its campyness, the MCU is perfect for a family sci-fi flick like the early F4. Dunno how well they'd handle the darker aspects of the book, but old-school F4 are perfect for the MCU.
Anyway, back to pic related, is the Reed-guy the unluckiest of them? Chilkis still has SHIELD under his belt and was in Gotham. Evans is Cap. Alba, well, she starred in quite a few stuff after that. McMahon ain't some huge star, but he still has Nip/Tuck under his belt. Reed-guy completely vanished. Even the Not-Fury from FF2 went on to be Captain Holt from B99.

Yes it is, you fuck. I too am a Fantastic Four fan so I will admit what this movie got right is the characterization and interaction of the four. What it got wrong was having no plot and basically being a superhero sitcom with a forced boss battle and RUINING Doctor Doom. They clearly didnt know what the fuck to do with the four so tried to portray them as a typical superhero team, like that entire set piece on the bridge. Just shit. Sorry you have such low standards you actively seek out things that are mediocre (at best)

its revenge for Smokin Aces. but i do really want a Bruce and Diana relationship.
Am I the only one who feels this episode is too contrived?
>Homer finally got his dream job and perfect life where people respect him
And then
>Marge realise she got nothing in her life except being a housewife
>Bart finds out a proper school wont deal with his bullshit
>Lisa get some out of nowhere allergy
It feels so unfair for Homer
>>83730305
The family are the fans and homer is the writers wanting to change the status quo.
>>83730305
It's such a cozy episode. One of my favorites.
>>83730305
Or the episode where he has all the premium channels on TV and he's forced to not watch it because it's a bad thin while all the neighbors watch it in his house. Or the episode where he sues Burns and is about to become millionaire but then Marge steps in. His family is just horrible.
Are there any other movies with this sort of 70s era setting that are as good?
70s movies
>>83730259
Nothing that was filmed in the '90s or beyond. And I am the king of kino and I have seen like 10 kajillion movies, so I am the authority on anything movie related, so just take my word for it.
It's set in the 80s really.

I have no problem with sex scenes, even something like the ones in fight club. and obviously as a kino lover she wouldn't mind but I still don't want it to be awkward. what is an "erotic thriller"? is it like those 70s exploitation movies?
Thoughts on Mac Demarco?
Can anyone show me one good song by this guy? No idea how he's even that popular. Sounds like your typical indie act.
