This was late 90s early 00s. Sleepwalkers is possibly NOT it, but maybe it is. Pic related. Here is what I recall from the show...
>Older teenage girl in a coma or a deep sleep inside a house
>inside her dreams she is walking around and free to roam an identical version of the world
>some scientists or apecialists are talking to the girl's comatose body, and somehow, within the dream, the girl hear them, I don't recall if she could talk back
>the girl is trying to find her way back to the house on the dream world where her body is in the real world
>girl finally finds house, walks into room, enters the body, and in the real world, wakes up
>the show had a dark tone to it
If you can, please help ID the show and episode. I must have seen it when I was 4 or 5 and I find myself compulsively thinking about it a few times a week.

I thought this may be it, but the timing doesn't fit. I was born in 1995, so I would have seen it when it aired in the US in 1998 on sci-fi. I wasn't that young, and I really think it was a girl.
