Last thing I remember was him moving into a new swank office... and some people in a tent with loads of money.
It obviously couldn't hold my attention because I've not had an urge to continue watching as of yet, though I probably will at some point.

His movies thus far have been pretty good, but the guy isn’t the greatest writer. He leans to heavily on the nihilistic side of things, making the classic mistake that negative is inherently more ’’authentic’’ or whatever. Positive has to go with negative or else there’s no charge. No one actually believes the two girls in Queen of Earth were ever best friends. They just seem to constantly hate each other. The dramatic conceit suffers for it; we care about these characters less because they don’t entirely make sense. Listen Up Philip has similar issues. Still, he’s a young American filmmaker who’s getting funded. Gotta support these guys. Trey Edward Shults will probably be the next great American director. Krisha is fucking sublime.
