RISE MY MARTIAN ICE WARRIORS
RIIIIISSSSSEEE
XD
Before all this toxic sjw crap, they actually treated black characters normally, Martha felt like a normal person. Not OMG SHES THE BLACK FEMALE COMPANION.
And the era approriate racism was handled as it should, done well and thoughtfully
versus Bill OMG SHES THE BLACK LESBIAN , IM A LESBIAN, I DON'T LIKE MEN, IT'S THE 10TH TIME I'VE SAID THIS, OMG HE A RACIST YEAH DOCTAH PUNCH DAT RACIST NAZI IN DA FACE.
Times truly have gotten toxic. Bill is a fake character even though she is fake. She doesn't feel real.

What was the meaning of this juxtaposition at the end of Apocalypse Now?
>Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you.
Horror has a face... and you must make a friend of horror. Horror and moral terror are your friends.

>this is the end starts playing
>conservative 1950's fantasy being ridiculed
An incredible film.
PERSONALLY I BLAME THE MOTHER
is this the most kino shot in tv history?
Does anyone else remember a show about these kids who lived on a submarine? It had really dim lighting, bad cgi for the exterior of the submarine, and sections sponsored by Seaworld. It was educational, I think it was on public access
Anyone?

What did Cosby mean by this?

Hes an old man complaining about the younger generation, what's funny is it could've just as easily been applicable in the 80s
off top of my head I'd say:
1. Breaking Bad - Considered putting Mad Men here, but when shit went down in BB it was near unbearable and is the most compelling and captivating visual story I've seen. VG is also great at keeping the visuals interesting, constantly filming from creative angles. He's also great at moving the camera to different perspectives to tell the story, like in those two big scenes at the end of the S4 finale, (camera shows
2.Mad Men - Maybe the best use of visual storytelling I've seen in anything, ever. I doubt I've spent more time analyzing single shots in anything than I have in this. It's never cheap or pretentious either, it's probably the most subtle show of all time. One small thing I particularly love in it is the blocking of the characters.
3. Game of Thrones - The directing is good in general MOST of the time, but I put a particular emphasis on the scenes of spectacle such as fights and battle sequences which are fucking awesome. Also the music is matched really well to accompany the scenes.
4.Fargo - They used split screen and freeze frame and it fucking worked. Most memorable and unique style of directing and editing in any show I've scene.
5.Better Call Saul or House of Cards - VG and Fincher are both top notch, needless to say
Holy fucking pleb.
Meant to post for BB the reveals as the camera moves to showother side of gus face and lily of the valley
