What did Lynch mean by this?
underrated masterpiece television of the last decade
>>84178747
Just because it doesn't get discussed here doesn't mean it was underrated. Normies loved that shit.

no one in my class even knows that this show existed
>>84178839
Yeah, it's not underrated. More underappreciated than anything.

writer's block
the life of the mind
It's a satire of jewish marxist intellectuals.
Barton is always talking about his love for the "common man," but he actually despises the common man. The common man Barton wants to write about, Goodman, is sitting there right in his face, yet Barton still has writers block.
Sacha Baron Cohen Will Play ‘Mandrake the Magician’ for Director Etan Cohen
>http://www.slashfilm.com/mandrake-the-magician-movie/
Will this be a flop? What are the Aussies' sentiments about it?
not an aussie but my opinion is that it will not flop, there's too much jewery at work here ( Lee Falk - born Leon Harrison Gross is a jew, Etan Cohen is a jew, Sacha Baron Cohen is a jew).
the movie will probably serve both as a way to move around funds for jews and as a degeneracy dispenser

Mandrake is the most OP illusionist in the world
He may as well be a telepath, he can make anyone see ANYTHING just by wiggling his hands around.
I hope The Phantom makes an appearance.
>>84178605
Make a movie about Mandrake, Flash Gordon and The Phantom joining forces to defeat Ming like in the 80s cartoon.
Halfway into 2017 and there are no good films. What happened?

Do you watch films on your fucking telephone?
First for only redditors like DW Griffith.
Second for only trannies like DW Griffith
Third for only problematic racists like DW Griffith
Why was Aragorn so OP? Sauron sacrificed his beauty to make those wraiths and he singlehandedly defeated all of them on weathertop. Not only that he was able to summon whole army of wraiths.
Does anybody have any information about the budget used for pic related?
I know that they had a crowdfunding campaign that made about $82k. But I really have a hard time believing that they pulled off that kind of quality with that little money. Sure, it's no blockbuster but if you compare it to projects like Blair Witch Project (I know it's a huge time difference but anyway) or Pranormal activity, they only managed to do everything found footage style. Of course that was also a design choice but we all know that it came out of necessity. Blair witch had a budget of around $60k and Paranormal activity about $15k if I remember correctly.
Is it because of the advancement of technology that this kind of quality is now possible or is there some capital that I missed?
>>84178403
the crowdfunding is all they had
movies don't cost so much to make
Hollywood budgets are artificially retarded because of (((them)))
no movie actually costs 200 million to make
>>84178451
I know that Hollywood budgets are just ridiculous. Most of the money goes to the actors and if you have a $200 million film then you need to add about $150 million for marketing.
I don't know if you saw the Void but I mean I know a little bit about the costs of a production. You can see where they saved money (shooting almost entirely on the same location, not many actors, no famous actor, etc.) but still.. I don't have any info on the equipment they used but it all costs a lot. The camera and lense rentals alone... then you have lighting, catering, you still have to pay the actors and the crew, etc. All that with $82K? I'm a little bit in disbelief here. If they really pulled that off then big kudos to them man.
>>84178661
I've seen it and yeah its really well made for 82k
maybe they had some other source of money but nothing about it online
>1000 dollars
>500 dollars
