MOVIE OF THE YEAR
Remember the episode where the World Trade Center collapsed?
>Show is called Better Call Saul
>The main character is not Saul, nor does he resemble the character the show is named for, after 3 seasons
>Show is a prequel to the show that turned /tv/ into a frenzy even more than LOST
>No one cares about it
Is Vince Gilligan a hack?
what are the best film/tv scenes that feature characters eating takeout chinese food?
Watched LIFE today with my bro and thought it was a bree guh movie. Certainly not kino, by any means, but I thought it was thrilling and, at times, a little bit scary.
Went on Reddit afterwards, because I couldn't find any /tv/ threads about it, and for some reason, Reddit really seemed to hate it.
They all seemed to hate the "illogical choices" all of the members made, and they hated how "OP" the alien was. I think the only real argument they had for why the movie sucked was "that's not how real space stations worked", and I have to admit, if I knew anything about space stations, I am also assuming those technical inaccuracies would have ruined my sense of immersion, but it's not like Alien or The Thing was 100% realistic either. Even Gravity and Interstellar (especially Interstellar) wasn't even scientifically accurate.
The only other "real" argument I can think about is "where did all the waste product that should be coming out of the alien go?", but that's not even REALLY a flaw.
>Crew members acted illogically
Oh, you mean like how they all established they've spent close to a year together and some have even formed romantic relationships together? And then they all sat and watched as this thing killed their friends and one girl literally even drowned in toxic water from her own space suit and STILL had the sense to sacrifice herself for the greater good, even as she was growing more and more delirious from loss of oxygen? Or like how that black guy was so hopped up on drugs for his broken hand that he couldn't tell when the thing was digesting his crippled, non-feeling legs and was slowly losing consciousness as it continued to drain him of blood?
>Alien was too OP
What? Not entirely. It could be killed, just like any other carbon-based life form; it was just incredibly strong and tough, just like a Xenomorph, or The Thing. Btw, I'm almost certain Calvin was running 95% on instinct and 5% on intelligence/sentience.
Fuck Reddit. LIFE was great.
why did you come on 4chan to argue with reddit
surely you should argue with reddit on reddit itself
