I like this guy's show, but there's no way it'll last much longer.
Wish Nick would do a show on compound media
>>84514656
Nick has a show? What network?
>>84514755
It's a radio show, not on TV. He has a drive time show on SiriusXM. He's only been doing it for a couple of months I think.
What movies define each genre for each period of time? First up:
80's SCIFI
Total Recall
Fucking great movie, also carried some classic scifi and action themes such as:
>ambiguous ending (was it all a dream)
>arnold one liners
>alien origins
PS I know this came out in 1990, but it's still qualifies as an 80's movie. Periods don't shift just because the numbers do (like the 90's. The 90's didn't end until Sept 11, 2001)

Total Recall came out in 1990

Who the hell is it
The long-gestating “Wheel of Time” TV series adaptation is moving forward with Sony Pictures Television.
The series will be based on the high fantasy novels written by Robert Jordan, the pen name of James O. Rigney Jr. There are 14 novels in total, beginning with “The Eye of the World” in 1990 and concluding with “A Memory of Light,” which was finished by Brandon Sanderson after Jordan’s death in 2007. They follow the quest to find the Dragon Reborn, who it is said will help unite forces to combat The Dark One.
Sony will produce along with Red Eagle Entertainment and Radar Pictures. Rafe Judkins is attached to write and executive produce. Judkins previously worked on shows such as ABC’s “Agents of SHIELD,” the Netflix series “Hemlock Grove,” and the NBC series “Chuck.” Red Eagle partners Rick Selvage and Larry Mondragon will executive produce along with Radar’s Ted Field and Mike Weber. Darren Lemke will also executive produce, with Jordan’s widow Harriet McDougal serving as consulting producer.

Lost in Translation.
If you don't agree, you didn't get it.
All of his movies are overrated and unfunny.

It's supposed to be a symbol. Great job plastering the guy's face on your body to show you enjoy his acting work
If you have a logo for a company it's not literally a picture of the 72 people working there

You did an incredible job!

>No one watched this
Doesn't matter. It's subscription based.
>>84513740
there was something very tragic about his character. it made me sad. he didn't get a redemption moment even though the movie was kind of pointing him in that direction. missed opportunity for pathos.
TFW you fell for this meme. The more appropriate title would have been Japanese Government Has Meetings In Every Room Available. What a overrated piece of crap, Anno is a hack.
2deep4u
It was excellent, exceeded my expectations. A genuinely good film with the timely resonance of the first, and the anno creature stuff was sublime. The very first film was mostly scientists and administrators talking too, anyway.
