>this is MCU Agent Venom.
At least it's pretty highly likely that he's never going to become Venom considering Sony is already doing a movie.
ummm, no sweetie this is Venom.
Has an actor ever peaked this high? Gosling's 3peat in the early 10's is the stuff of legends.

OGF is trash
Also, based Jake BTFO of Goose
>End of Watch
>Prisoners
>Nightcrawler
You gotta add Nice Guys to that
>>84523354
Hopefully blade runner will be added to goslingkino soon.
right?
why you ask me? i don't know
>>84523316
Nah, James riding his bike was better.
>>84523316
It's no Clyde Buckman's Final Repose but it will do
Will we ever see a teevee masterpiece like this again?
>>84523141
No because plebs didn't watch season 2
>>84523141
Don't watch TV shows... I do like the one season premise.
Dexter
The Walking Dead
They run out of steam a few seasons in, even BB. but that was when I watched TV
>>84523352
First season of Dexter is a really solid season of tv. They never should have killed Doakes. It took most of the danger out of it for me because I realized they'd find ways to write characters out of the show who discovered his secret if they were willing to blow him up.
Is he, dare I say it, /ourguy/?
Also Blood Drive thread.
ree I forgot to include the subtitles with him saying "Cool Story, Bro"
>>84523015
I actually like this show. The forced bad scenes to be grindhouse makes it feel like it's trying too hard at times, but it's still entertaining overall
Bump
Glad somebody finally made a Blood Drive thread, I was on the verge of doing so myself. I'm an episode behind so I'll sit this one out, but just happy to see it discussed here.
I am DEAD SERIOUS when I say this.
Jaws 4 The Revenge was better than this crap.
>>84522866
This is the best shark movie since jaws though
>>84522866
but its got mandy moore though
I find Open Water very underrated, much better than 47
Why did people overrate this piece of shit movie?
Is it just because it's not a sequel or capeshit so we're supposed to settle for mediocrity?
Why do other peoples opinions bother you this much

They were having fun. You don't have fun.
you must have the attention span of a fucking hummingbird
>>84522611
More like movies marketed like shit.
I remember watching the very first trailer and it made it look like a bourne type movie and I got hyped as shit then watched it and got really pissed of and dissapointed but the movie itself wasnt that slow and beautifuly shot.
Many people were tricked.
>>84522734
God, I was one of them. My whole family went to see this because we all had seen a single trailer (which made it out to be a Bourne-style movie but with Clooney. Whats not to love?). I can honestly say I've never been more disappointed in a theatre in my entire life. Even if it was a very pretty movie with an interesting ending, I have never been more bored. The whole film just follows Clooney's character moping around this boring fucking town and acting all depressed for like two hours, with a single action scene sprinkled in every forty minutes or so. Fuck this movie.
These franchises could've have amazing movies that would entertain audiences more than capeshit.
Is it possible for Christopher Nolan to turn these movies around like he did for Batman
>>84522473
But they already have, Michael bay is the ultimate auteur and pleb filter
>Christopher Nolan
>Transformers and Ninja Turtles
Fuck outta here. Christopher Nolan's "MUH REALISM" is the worst thing to happen to capeshit ever, I can't imagine how hard he'd fuck up Optimus Prime.
Now that Neo-80's is a real thing in cinema, they need to go balls to the wall with bright colors and synthwave. Have Adam Wingard direct the next Transformers, with a soundtrack by Mitch Murder and the Cybertronic Spree.
>>84522473
Well the easiest one to reboot would be TMNT, only little CGI as possible for the turtles, think of Abe in Hellboy.
Then the vibe could be totally realistic like in Batman Begins or it could be a slightly different reality like in Watchmen or it could be a mix like in Punisher: War Zone, that would actually work best.
Then Transformers would always look cartoony no mater what you do, the most realistic way would be like the mechas in Pacific Rim.
ITT: directors who have never made a bad movie
>yfw critics hate Birth
literally no fucking clue
>>84524067
i can see why they could perceive the script as sort of hokey, but the direction is so genius that he makes it work.
Somebody please, unironically explain this scene to me.
Did he actually jack off and came in the guy's face?
>>84522156
the whole point is that you don't know, that's what makes it scary
>Did he actually jack off and came in the guy's face?
probably not
>>84522156
did he piss on the bottle and make him drink it?
What the fuck, I was just wondering this same thing last night.
This is the worst MCU film. It looks cool and that's all. This series is pretty much a guilty pleasure of mine and I watch it out of habit, and GOTG2 and Strange were the only ones I haven't seen. Went to see Guardians 2 and it was fine, and pirated dr strange
I don't buy this character at all. The pacing is a mess. I just don't understand his motivations for becoming dr. strange and his involvment with magic makes no sense to me. Everything happened too quickly. Also I laughed when I realised that he;s supposed to be a rational scientist, and says "I don't believe in chakras and fairy tales" when there are aliens and Thor running around
what the fuck
Anyone else? Also his powers make no sense either, all of it was poorly thought out
True, I felt like the character didn't earn his powers at all. He is producing magic sparks out of thin air after doing fucking nothing but being accepted into chinky Hogwarts and swirling his hand around, if it's that easy why isn't everyone doing it? They should have put a lot more work into it having to do with him growing as a person and becoming less of a dickhead like how people who believe in magic in real life claim it is, but then I guess they couldn't have him making arrogant quips throughout if he grew spiritually so kept him cocky.
The way magic is depicted is also boring, we only see them making portals, astral projecting, creating energy weapons, warping the environment and controlling time with the gem. He's meant to be becoming the most powerful wizard ever and we only see him doing 3 spells by himself. Should have also put a lot more work into the magic system, explain how he's calling upon different entities from different realms for each kind of spell, and what he has to offer them in return.
i was really surprised how generic it was. you'd think a movie about mysticism and occult shit would be interesting but they handwave it all away and fast forward past him learning anything.

Man
I've just rewatched this and it is so great
It aged pretty well.
Still the best 20 years running. Twink-man fags kidding themselves.
Inever liked it. mary-janes play subplot made me want to pull my hair out, spider-man losing his powers because he "felt sad" made no sense, regaining them because he stopped feeling sad made even less sense, Ock was defeated by himself and wasn't that compelling.
spider-man stopping a 120 ton train is stupid.
the first one is the best one
When did it become cool to hate your audience?

I miss Jessi so much. She had a really cute laugh, and the show benefited from her femininity.
