why has no comedy ever topped withnail and i?
>>87326068
Maybe I'm a retard but, this was a comedy?
I fuck arses
>>87328267
I think they'd call it a 'black' comedy
>After 15 years in storage, the lemons had developed a delayed fuse. It took 90 minutes for these fuckers to kick in but once they did, *pow* I had skipped the tingle phase and jumped straight to the drool phase. These little bastards were so strong I had discovered a whole new phase: the Cerebral Palsy phase.

most underrated comedy of the last 10 years
What am I in for?
>>87325983
A great movie.
>>87325983
scientologist whack job beats up the devil.
>>87325983
A brilliant looking yet empty fantasy. It's also very childish but has some adult moments in it. Tim Curry's Devil is literally amazing though.
So I'm about to watch this in preparation for the remake, what should I expect?
Have in mind I don't like horrors they bore me to death.
>>87325954
Pretty good, when you consider the era, budget, and that it aired on network TV.
>>87325954
Just skip it, it's not on par with the quality of the upcoming movie
>>87325954
It's a massive piece of shit. It's pretty funny though so there is that
>vampires
>witches
>downloadable demons
All of them more believable than Cordelia dating this asshole.
>normies dating normies is unbelievable
>Xander
>asshole
Fuck you, he is the best out of all of them.
>>87326606
they're all shit characters, but xander manages to be the worst
>what the hell is this?
>>87325900
>WE'RE DONE
Do people actually post about suits on here?
>You're god-damn right it is
Why does no one care about young adult book adaptations anymore?
Fad that got wrung out like a washcloth. Same thing with bow and arrows appearing everywhere.
what did he mean by this?
What did I think of it?
I like how disturbed they portrayed denzel washingtons former squad mates. That dude who approaches him with the weird pictures and mumbling is a scene that will always stick in my mind for some reason.
The oedipus angle was strange and unnecessary, in my opinion.
Overall a pretty mediocre movie, similar in feel and quality to The Siege, so if you like MC check that out.
>has one of the most loyal people one could ever ask for yet treats him like shit
>uses honor as an insult
>spends next to zero time with his child
>cheats on his wife
>is said to be some great warrior but does absolutely zero winning on screen
>keeps one of the most toxic women next to him until she causes his death
I don't get it. Why does /tv/ like Stannis? Pic unrelated.
>>87325615
t. low T faggot
>zero winning on screen
>scenes OP will never understand
He killed his daughter
What are some films where you can watch the protagonist's descent into suicide in realtime?
>this will be kraut and tea in 5 years
in a way, this very theme is "Falling Down" with Micheal Douglas
>>87325604
That's pretty optimistic considering the rate he's imploding.
do you think he does action or dialogue better? or feet?
>You'll never join the secret Feet and Diarrhea Club and have a drink with these legends
>>87326476
only one legend there desu
>>87327883
THIS
Why is he so based?
Litterally a 10/10 actor and underrated as fuck
you know, i'm somewhat underrated myself.
>>87325514
This, he looks like a great person to be around, chill and friendly as fuck.
>>87325745
what?
he looks like a fucking perverted creep
no wonder he always play villains
check this out, I feel like I'm close to figuring out the perfect comeback, it starts with him replying "I have a fantasy where...."
>>87325486
underage girls.......
>>87325486
>I have a fantasy where France is completely under sharia law so stupid whores like you are stoned to death in public and then I leave
>a year later
still no perfect comeback
is this the meme now?
Why can't series be intense and suspenseful anymore? Currently watching the first season of 24 again and this shit is still intense even though I've seen it five times before. Nowadays it's just "dude it's really slow, but you gotta see the whole series three times to realize how good it is, but it'll be all worth it".
>>87325485
I think because of the success of stuff like Mad Men and The Sopranos, TV creators have decided that long shows must have the structure of novels. I mean, when was the last time an influential "monster-of-the-week" format was used or had the budget for spectacle?
