Kino or Criterion?
Which has a better/wider selection?
Which has the better restoration process?
Which has the better supplements?
>>84566611
Criterion has more obscure titles and better restoration. Both are good though.
>>84566611
Kino restoration process is complete shit. Criterion will scan a film in 4K going frame by frame adjusting colors and removing scratches with the supervision of the director, DoP or their next of kin. Meanwhile Kino has been embarrassing themselves with the The Good The Bad and The Ugly "remaster" where they reused the controversial yellow filter video master from MGM and weren't even aware there were complaints until autists brought it up on Facebook. Even then they didn't perform a new scan, they're just slightly removed the amount of yellow through basic color correction.
Kino has more limited selection, but arguably has more historically significant films. Criterion has many more films, many mediocre, but generally more relevant, entertaining and culturally significant.
Kino uses cheap ass blu-ray cases and have lazy box art. Criterion uses sturdy, thick and clear Scanovo cases or digipaks with specially commissioned art from top-tier graphic designers.
Criterion always tries to issue brand new special features. Kino will pretend subtitles are a special feature.

>Jamie Dornan stalked IRL woman for his role on The Fall
>“I followed a woman off the train one day to see what it felt like to pursue someone like that. Dornan said he kept his distance from his target, and once she reached her stop, lurked behind her for a couple of blocks. And the resulting feeling was one that helped understand Spector’s compulsion on some level. "
>“It felt kind of exciting, in a really sort of dirty way,” he added. “I’m sort of not proud of myself. But I do honestly think I learned something from it, because I’ve obviously never done any of that. It was intriguing and interesting to enter that process of ‘what are you following her for?’ and ‘what are you trying to find out?”

Man they should hire me, I'm an expert

Well good job not bungling it or that could have been a PR disaster, at least Tom Cruise had the sense to stalk his own movie crew for his role in Collateral.
Help me out guys. I'm looking for a movie to give me a push in the right direction in my current situation. This is my current situation. I likely failed Uni for a third time. My gf, the first person I have ever trusted and loved, cheated on me. She has been crying ever since, begging me to forgive her. I am at a complete ground zero. I have been in situation like this before, where I was standing in front of my ruines but had a thrive to start over new, in a new country, doing something new. This time though, I am feeling completely weak and powerless. I lost all motivation to keep on fighting as all my previous attempts have always resulted in the same situation, the one I am in right now. Having lost everything and having to start over new.
Any movie that deals with a similar situation or that can help me out in my situation?
I really appreaciate your help.
Not so fast

There are people on this board right now who do not understand the ending of Fargo 3.
reminder. There are people right now on this board that has deluded themselves into thinking that the ending was good and that other's just don't get it.
This was the most boring, the most laziest ending i have seen for a longtime. Terrible.

Reminder there are people on this board right now who actually bothered to watch past S3 Ep 1 when it became clear this show has gone down the shitter and became absolute trash.

okay I mean yeah that is what you were making this thread for, so I'll just go ahead an post an Elle neck.
Hey, /tv/, it's the anon that made that Misfits thread a couple of days ago. I just finished it. It was actually really good. I'm not watching season 4 because I've heard it's terrible. That ending was pretty good. {spoiler] and because I wasn't watching season 4, I looked up Curtis's death because I was curious as to how it went down. And... jesus Christ, that made me feel terrible. Just seeing Rudy cry because he doesn't want Curtis to die. And the fact that Curtis was alone, none of the original gang there. that was one of the saddest TV deaths I've seen and I didn't even watch the build up. {spoiler]. So let's get a Misfits thread going!
I totally screwed up the spoiler warning thing. sorry
