It's muscular and fit in America, but go to countries in Europe like: Germany, Poland, Sweden or Norway and you'll see that majority of population lifts weights and looks better than him.

So I just watched Logan yesterday and I couldn't help but notice how it was an allegory for the current situation in America.

>people of non-white ethnicities ("muties") being rounded up (and deported) for being different
>literally have to run across the border to Canada to escape the totalitarian regime of America
>American government thinks they know what's best for the country and literally poisons our food to ensure the extermination of anyone "different"

This movie was perfectly timed considering the current political climate.

all i got from this movie was the white guy repeatedly saves the day

That's not even true or the truth.
>>
>people of non-white ethnicities ("muties") being rounded up (and deported) for being different

how is this even true? Being deported for being illegal is different than being deported for being "different"

Nah it was cringe af. 3/4 of the movie endlessly boring with forced trying very hard to be funny jokes. Holland's Parker is good but the environment around him is just garbage.

Also just killing Herman Schultz like that? Bruh

I mean, it's a cool shot in theory.

wide angle. the characters charge at each other. dramatic swell of music. the closer they get to one another, the closer the camera zooms in. just as they are about to connect, the music pauses abruptly. Clash! Kicks flying, punches thrown. Music kicks back in.

But, it being Marvel, it was executed with the least amount of competence.

I hate cape movies, but I still hold a shred of hope. Wonderwoman was enjoyable and almost good(the first act was a bit rocky, and then it proceeded to retroactively ruin the entire movie by shitting itself in the third act), and Spiderman Homecoming wasn't as insulting as I thought it would be.

We may actually get a good cape movie. It only took us a few decades.

https://moviepilot.com/p/is-franchise-fatigue-real-or-buzzphrase/4310498

>Each month brings a fresh headline containing Hollywood's favourite new buzzphrase, "franchise fatigue." As big-budget sequels from The Mummy to Transformers: The Last Knight stutter to a halt, the consensus reached by news coverage suggests a collective, audible yawn from audiences, as they grow weary and tired of recycled and repackaged films. But is franchise fatigue really a pressing issue for movie studios to address, or is it nothing more than a buzzphrase, a product of anti-franchise bias?

>The full story of #boxoffice trends is complex and impossible to define in two words alone (lucky for you, this article has almost one-hundred times more). There are a whole host of factors in play: domestic performance, international success, profits made in comparison to the film's budget, marketing costs... it's dizzying, isn't it? In an attempt to find answers and quash the vertigo, I spoke to Doug Stone from Box Office Analyst, who has jumped headfirst into the ocean of numbers to make sense of it all.

>Before we share Doug's findings, it's worth exploring why the term has surfaced in the first place. A significant majority of the top-grossing movies in recent years were created from the foundation of an already-existing concept or shared universe, and while sequels and reboots have been a part of Hollywood for years, franchises have elbowed their way to the front of the blockbuster queue, and stubbornly dug their heels into the ground. Their consistent rise in popularity has been helped by the boom of comic book adaptations and the super-profit serum of the MCU, which has made Disney almost $12 billion from 15 movies since 2008.
