Can someone explain to me why this whining whore is so popular?
She's CLEARLY a bad guy, yet people everywhere are praising her as some kind of good guy.
>>85185823
Because she's hot as fuck and we got to see her naked and dry humped
>>85185906
>hot as fuck
opinion discarded
>>85185970
Well she was...
How did he get away with this? Was it banter? This is not a pol thread mods pls don't prune, bonus question: What is your favorite war film?
It's a part of male bonding.
Insulting your male friend is like butting heads in a friendly way. You're both strong animals and you're testing each others strength but you have enough compassion for each other that you don't act on the strength. Also deep down we all know that niggers must hang so he had a salient point.
Words mean less than actions. He was the same guy who willingly but his life on the line for the same black guy

/thread and check'em
I have this feeling literally everyone missed the biblical symbolism throughout the movie.
>Moses (Caesar) is tasked with freeing the jews (apes) from the Egyptians (humans) who use the jews as slave labor
>he is able to free his people, but they are followed by the pharaoh's army
>God intervenes by allowing Moses to split the Red Sea, allowing safe passage for the jews while the pharaoh's soldiers die (the avalanche at the end)
>after 40 years of roaming through the desert, the jews finally reach the Promised Land
>however, Moses dies literally right before he can enter the Promised Land
The parallells were pretty in your face but none of my friends had noticed and the reviews online never mention this.
They also never mention the references to the Holocaust, Nazis and Schindler's List
Did anyone else think maybe the enemy army at the end weren't human? Their entire bodies were covered and not once did they talk or say anything, all they did was scream, clap, and cheer.
It's probably nothing, but it seemed like a very peculiar decision to me to completely cover the other soldiers up and have them not use English.
That would be like missing someone punch you in the face. It was pretty overt.
Now that Dunkirk is coming up, what were your thoughts on Fury?

ITT post honest filmmakers. Dishonest filmmakers not allowed.
Only when you are truly honest can you make rapekino.
Am I razy or was this actually really good?
6.6 IMDB. 45%RT.
It's beautifully made, and the visuals are stunning. The story is Ghost in the Shell, if that's what you're into then it's great, but it really delves deeper into the material than the original, and expands on things. Very cool, and very underrated. Also totally unfair how overshadowed it was by the white washing controversy.

Fattu piggu
I thought Tron looked better. Gotta have more than a slick look to get my attention.
>>85185305
You either retarded or a shill, maybe both
I dont really know what people were expecting from this movie, its pretty meh. Did you like it /tv/ ?
Campy atmosphere and more action. This was supposed to be the Power Rangers. No one asked for a drawn out origins story.
>>85185182
It was ok. I wish there would have been more fighting while in uniform also more saving random citizens to cement their status as rangers. The megazord was kind of bland and they should have showed them coming together. Way too much focus on teen drama.
>>85185255
>Way too much focus on teen drama.
yeah agreed.
Are you hyped for the new Disney films? HYPE
#Spider-manhomecoming was the best film the month
>>85185095
Only Frozen 2.
>another mulan movie
>>85185095
>one original film (Coco)
I know Disney has never TECHNICALLY been original with them adapting fairytale sand such, but I'll be damned if they didn't breathe life and imagination into classic and sometimes mostly forgotten stories. The stuff they do now feels pretty assembly line. Even Moana, which was original, felt like a bag of Disney cliches in a pretty package
Why is this show such a sacred cow on /tv/?
I watched it the other day and it's not bad but it's also not EXCELLENT or anything.
I don't get the adoration to be honest

Watch it...

>wake up
>wipe the cigar ashes, tomato sauce, stripper glitter and gabagool grease from my polyester short-sleeved collared bowling shirt
>breathe heavily and as loudly as possible on my trek down the stairs and across my McMansion to the kitchen (probably the most exercise I've done in years, I never did have the makings of a varsity athlete)
>fix myself a hearty plate of gabagool with a side of gabagool
>pour myself a glass of Tropicana™ with some pulp to wash down the diabetes
>here comes A.J down the stairs
>it's been a good week for him, he only attempted suicide 5 times and he got an F+ on his community college Remedial Arithmetic quiz
>I'm proud of him
>So proud of him that I take him outside to see his new car. My son only drives the best
>A brand-new stretch hummer limo. The safest money could buy, and it gets ten feet to the gallon
>A.J. starts bitching about the environment
>Tell him I'll throw his ass back in the pool if he doesn't shut the fuck up and get in the hummer limo
>He gets in, the hummer limo immediately bursts into flames
>A.J. survives, is angry he's still alive and goes back up to his room to jerk off to interracial porn
>Carmela arrives, she's back from the gabagool market
>She presents to me crates, barrels, backpacks and suitcases packed to the brim with delicious gabagool
>"It took me hours to gather all this gabagool, Tony. A thank you would be nice."
>Give her a gabagool and cigar flavored kiss on the cheek and a crisp $100 bill, and pat her on the head. That'll do, Carm, that'll do.
>Phone rings, it's Meadow
>Everything goes to black, there's no punchline. Fuck you, lmao!

What does /tv/ think about this movie and Stern in general?
Stern is confirmed a scumbag
>>85184599
All I remember is that I watched the tv cut and when they pixelated the scene of the woman deep throating a sausage, the movie paused and Stern stepped into frame, telling the audience to buy the film on VHS.
>>85184794
I'm pretty sure that happens more than once.
The edited for television version is up there with Showgirls having CGI bras
What's the most interesting film/tv-related trivia you know?
In 1991 during the filming for 'Point Break' Keanu Reeves (whose role involved playing rookie FBI agent 'Johnny Utah') was surfing with co-stars when a small child was dragged under the waves and began to struggle to stay above surface. As his co-stars rushed to help, Reeves held out an arm infront of them, stopping them and was reported saying by Lori Petty (who played the character Tyler Endicott in the film) "The waves have claimed her, let her fight for her own life". The crew, dumbfounded, proceeded to watch her struggle until her body disappeared beneath the waves, lifeless. He was later spotted outside the child's house, making drowning gestures and thanking the family for their child's sacrifice to the great ocean.
In October 2001, Keanu Reeves met with the families of 9/11 victims. After a brief interview in which he expressed his condolences and hope for closure, he reportedly burst out laughing and made airplane noises and mimicked two planes crashing. He then picked up the child of a deceased victim and whispered into her ear "Your dad's dead, bitch", and proceeded to put on a pair of sunglasses and unleash a barrage of martial arts attack on the small child. She was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead due to extreme trauma. When asked later about the incident, Reeves became visibly sexually aroused and repeated the same attack on the reporter.
David Naughton played a Jewish guy in An American Werewolf in London (1981) even though he himself is not Jewish. The director (John Landis) told Naughton in jest that he needed to get circumcised for the role and Naughton went ahead and did it. In the end his cock was never shown on screen because it would have led to the film becoming X-rated.
Wasn't even the last time Landing chopped something off from someone in the name of his art.
the man has a rare understanding of storytelling that many writers and showrunners lack.
Would you say he is the GOAT tv writer...on the same tier as David Chase and David Simon
