the main character was incomprehensibly stupid for so long that some sort of twist was basically demanded. But then everything just follows the most obvious and readily apparent trajectory without any sort of meaningful deviation.

Started watching it last night. Watched it all day today.

It's pretty good. Not outstanding, not groundbreaking, not that original but entertaining and better than most of the shit Netflix churns out.
