I mean iPhones are the kino of phones, surely Apple can make the kino of movies?
>>85359789
I don't doubt that it could befunbut let's not all kid ourselves about what it really is, a 2 hour apple commercial.
>iPhones
>Overpriced brand name that does nothing better than any other smart phone
>Can't charge your phone and listen to music through your headphones at the same time
>kino
Heh. No.
Why is The Rock obsessed with starring in shit?
The Office: Deep Lore Edition

Can we get a Heat thread going? Just finished watching this and it was fuckin kino
You guys were also right about the impeccable sound design regarding firearms. Well recommended, /tv/
https://youtu.be/ZL9fnVtz_lc
Great film. I wish I could see more stuff with shootouts that good. Public Enemies was okay in that regard as well, but with old-timey firearms.
>>85360201
Theres a making of doc about Heat where they talk about the sound used in the shoot out scene being the raw audio. Makes me wonder why more films dont do that.
What went wrong?
Lost his way. Or maybe he was only ever a visuals guy who was fortunate enough to be around other very talented people and he just got the credit.

Covenant felt like an in-between story of the main plot. They should let him finish with the next film and get aliens 2.5 off the ground at the same time. Release ridleys prometheus 3 and then 8 months later to the time travel aliens story.
>>85359890
>get aliens 2.5 off the ground at the same time
Ridley doesn't want anyone else touching the franchise. He wants to turn it into his Star Wars. Though to be fair, he always wanted to go back and elaborate on the derelict/ancient gods. That was his idea for Alien 2. But the studio didn't ask him to return and the gig went to Cameron.
This movie was pure kino. If you didn't like it you were one of three things:
>Frog who's butthurt that the french weren't the stars of the show
>nu-filmgoer who can't handle the movie not being a sappy epic character study in representation and gender/minority politics
>/pol/fag who can't stand seeing muh nazis lose
>/pol/fag
Drink that aryan blood lad. You earned it my Anglo friend.
idk, although good in a sense that it was suspenseful throughout, it was was a little much. I enjoyed, but didn't think it deserved the hype and criticism it received. Kind of lost its touch by the end of it.

Considering the cucking now happening in England, all those brave men died for nothing. They might as well have let the Nazis have it. At least they shot people instead of cutting heads off.
If Dunkirk is Nolan's best answer to Netflix then Netflix has already won.
>>85359035
should I watch Dunkirk or Planet of the Apes?
>>85360380
just saw dunkirk. it was pretty good. too short though
>>85360380
Dunkirk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgS2L7WPIO4
Will it be as kino as the first, /tv/?
>>85358407
It honestly already feels like Stranger Things has overstayed its welcome.
>>85358407
i think it will be good. i think its a pretty good show even though i hate most of the fan base.
>>85358407
Cool. Needs more Mike Wheeler though.
>In an attempt to elicit more emotion, Francis Ford Coppola shouted "whore" and "slut" at Winona Ryder while filming the scene when Van Helsing catches Mina with Dracula.
>>85358318
>Coppola called her a whore
>Gibson called her oven dodger
Pls stop bullying her
>>85358486
give me Winona for a day, and she would never dodge my dutch oven.
I'd tie her up on my bed, fart into a pillow case and then wrap around her head and then listen to her muffled cries and pleas. Of course, I"m not a monster.. I would console her afterwards, while the running mascara from her face and tell her that everything would be alright.
What was her name again
Her channel isn't that bad, wow
She really did surpass dog walker
Also she shits on him every other video
>I've been on sets of people who never were on sets and oh boy...
I want to bend her over and pull her hair while she gives me a quick rundown on disney heroes
>she really did surpass doug walker
As if that was hard to do.
>>85358232
Didn't she quit Doug's dumb website a long time ago? If so, good for her.
